He sang the acoustic song I'm Yours amazingly well live. You can see the emotions in his gorgeous face here and you won't find them on fucking twats like Justin Bieber or T Pain. So no, be quiet and listen to your shitty rap music, let the rest of us listen to this beautiful music.

The real singers can sing in the studio AND live.
I personally think this is amazing, and the script live are also. Go and see their energetic, enthusiastic performance live and you'll change your mind.

@PDaniPereira he clearly sings wrong, and if he continues singing improperly there is a chance he'll lose his voice, or maybe form callous on his throat, he kinda uses laryngeal resonation.. he sounds better on recordings.

I think his voice still sounds good - it's just a bit scratchy. Maybe he's been singing for a while and his voice is tired. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened to a musician.

Yeah, I listened to this to see if he was any better live than in the other videos I watched. It's rather embarrassing I must say. It sounds like he wrote the music or something and had little vocal training and insisted he be the lead singer. Good songs, decent looks and polished studio manipulation are what got them this far it seems.
I've just been to one of their concertsm and it was amazingggg. He probably just feels weird sitting in front of a camera, without any ot the other instruments
Man, disappointed. This is one of the best bands to come out recently as far as songwriting and melodies. However, this guy always sounds awful live. It seems his voice is very produced like the rest.
These guys are great songwriters but Danny doesn't have a great voice. Search for 10 live versions of "Breakeven" and 8 will be below average at best.
@rmiller9969 I just watched his live show at the Palladium in LA and he sounded perfect... Have you seen him in concert or do you just judge his live singing off of Youtube fan recordings? They rocked the crowd and sounded awesome. In fact it was better than the album... I was impartial to this band after listening to the album, but became a big fan after the concert.

Pretty sure he's not singing in any sort of microphone, so it's kind of hard to hear him over the guitar. I think he's singing just fine, just hard to hear.
That's not his real voice and you would know that if you'd ever heard him sing live. Generally, he's good. In this case, he's not very good, but listen to him on a good day. You'll change your mind.
Man poor guy he was obviously sick when he was singin this. I like how he still sang anyways because that shows me he really loves his music and a sore throat isn't gonna stop him. A true and brilliant musician.

Nothing wrong with his voice... I'd rather have a human voice with any and all cracks, raspiness, and imperfections than some untalented douche who learned how to use Autotune.

@n0MEXCY You can't expect everyone to sound the way you're used to, when it's an unplugged version. Not every artist delivers at live performances :)

idk why everyone thinks his voice sounds so bad. These guys have been touring for roughly 3 years straight. non-stop shows, festivals, ect. Danny's voice raw sounds absolutely amazing. He's always had a slight-raspy sounding voice, part of what makes it so nice to listen to. major props

I think his voice still sounds good - it's just a bit scratchy. Maybe he's been singing for a while and his voice is tired. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened to a musician.

I agree its not his best performance but trying touring for pretty much three years straight and see how your voice is after it. I agree he needs to get back to his best but if you really liked the script you wouldnt care

Yeah, I listened to this to see if he was any better live than in the other videos I watched. It's rather embarrassing I must say. It sounds like he wrote the music or something and had little vocal training and insisted he be the lead singer. Good songs, decent looks and polished studio manipulation are what got them this far it seems.

Man, disappointed. This is one of the best bands to come out recently as far as songwriting and melodies. However, this guy always sounds awful live. It seems his voice is very produced like the rest.
These guys are great songwriters but Danny doesn't have a great voice. Search for 10 live versions of "Breakeven" and 8 will be below average at best.

@rmiller9969 I just watched his live show at the Palladium in LA and he sounded perfect... Have you seen him in concert or do you just judge his live singing off of Youtube fan recordings? They rocked the crowd and sounded awesome. In fact it was better than the album... I was impartial to this band after listening to the album, but became a big fan after the concert.

@Niceone009xx They do use autotune, I think its disgusting that they wont admit it, anyone expierienced in audio recording can pick it up, they hide it pretty well in the for the first time recording, but I could pick it up

Their amazin live u should hear them and i know for a fact they dont use autotune live. Even if they did use autotune i'd still be a fan.

@Niceone009xx What you are saying is true about they're live stuff, I havnt heard any signs of autotune when their live, and im not saying that theres anything wrong with autotune, I use it in my recordings much like they do, in small amounts, so it corrects your pitch... but doesnt make you sound like t-pain, but, I think they should admit they use it, cause no ones perfect. and its rediculous to blatently lie to fans, tats all im saying, but ur rite, live, they are aut tune free

@Niceone009xx Hey, I love this band myself, incredible talent, I like them with or without autotune, and honestly it doesnt matter to me so long as you dont come out sounding like lil wayne, The main point of my comments was to put the truth out, cause too many musicians get cuaght up in the perfect sound of a certain band (like script recordings) and go crazy trying to acheive that themselves and become discouraged, ive been there and it blows ass, when in relaity its half artifiacial

Pretty sure he's not singing in any sort of microphone, so it's kind of hard to hear him over the guitar. I think he's singing just fine, just hard to hear.

@10imtheking Nope, per the video title, it's 'unplugged'. His voice isn't being run through a bunch of filters and software to remove imperfections.

That's not his real voice and you would know that if you'd ever heard him sing live. Generally, he's good. In this case, he's not very good, but listen to him on a good day. You'll change your mind.
