  • Mista -don't take it personally. Just want to show that we love you...yes, everyone I imagine. Although I don't personally know anyone posting [here], I can just feel the peace and love coming your way. The caring, sharing, gooey love that only a certain kind of sarcasm can embellish. As the great Jean Paul Sartre used to say, "garçon, quelle merde dunb vous êtes pour l'achat dans n'importe quel de ces trucs".

  • squares!

  • lmmmaaaaaaaoooooooo... ooh i love jazz but this shit was hilarious

  • Tycho -you win. "...fought against the British..". Yep, that's a definite giveaway.

D-Messiah and Mista....sorry Folks, but C'mon. Geez. The great Lawrence Welk Bands? Clarence Clemens as a jazzer? Duh.

  • I can't believe I'm hearing this from Derek Smalls, the man who wrote the immortal "Jazz Odyssey".

  • I don't think they're not kidding. Clarence Clemens, the greatest jazz sax player ever is rolling in his grave about these spinal pap guys

  • @nelson2042 You are joking, right? I mean, this isn't even a real band for crying out loud.

  • @DefenestratedMessiah I suspect Nelson2042 is himself having a little fun here. "We fought against the British to protect things like Jazz" -- that's the giveaway.

  • I don't think so. I believe them. Clarence Clemens, the greatest jazz sax player ever is rolling in hi grave

  • I just cant believe how tawdry, how insensitive these guys are toward Jazz. It's a mockery of a sham. I googled to see if there're touring, and nothing showed up -nothing. They come off like some great authorities. If you don't tour, then you're nothing. Even the great Lawrence Welk bands did some touring. To make these remarks goes against what it means to be American. We fought against the British to protect things like Jazz...it's a basic freedom of expression. If they were pretending

  • @nelson2042 They're fucking kidding, you twat.

  • @MistaRowland Erm, I'm pretty sure Mr 2024 is pulling your leg!

  • @TheNikDevlin Damn internet sarcasm...

  • This stuff ought to be taught at Berkley School of Music, Eastman and Juilliard. Think I'Il sell all my saxophones and get a Flying V and a big Marshall that goes to 11. WE NEED ANOTHER SPINAL TAP MOVIE!!!

  • PWAHAAHAH i fuckin love these guys. I love the musical satire i actually go to school for jazz

  • Hahaha oh god the stupidity

  • @mightywarriorx Dude. they aren't serious. Its a mock band

  • "jazz saxophone, I don't know what they're doin'. I mean, I know it's a cliche but that's what they all say, isn't it: it sounds like you're murdering a cat."

    Just wish he'd said that.

  • Spinal Tap are american actors portraying an english band . All people need to do is look it up! The lack of knowledge on here is astounding!

  • @xmod4itx Right you are, everyone can check it out in Wikipedia. The "bassist" is none other than Harry Shearer, who, among other accomplishments, is the voice of many characters on the Simpsons! One of them, Christopher Guest, was raised in both countries & has dual citizenship... you can read more there...

  • Mr. Fitzgerald........ Either you can't read, or you ignored the first sentence of my comment. " Well, It's funny if it's a put on." It's obvious the gentlemen are English. Your comment suggests you are of a liberal mind bent, where only your ideas and, likes and dislikes are the right ones. Since I don't know Spinal Tap's music, I can't say they suck. But, they are are probably not my cup of tea, and I won't waste my time finding out, because I doubt they would influence me.

  • Jrock.. I don't know who spinal tap is, nor do I care.

  • This is the funniest movie. Love it.

  • Jazz is an accident waiting to happen.

  • Well, It's funny if it's a put on. But, if these gentlemen are serious, then it only confirms my observation of the total dumbing down of American culture, among everything else. eddiec

  • @cacsac Dude, do you know who/what Spinal Tap really is?

  • @cacsac Can't believe you don't know who Spinal Tap is. This was a parody by an ENGLISH band, not American. Open your mind - and your eyes and ears, or else YOU'LL be the example of 'dumbing down".

  • A lot of people here who have absolutely NO understanding of irony, jeeez!!

It's good to see that Spinal Tap live on!

  • lmao i know a few jazz guys that would find that funny!

  • Apparently, I'm the brain-dead reader.

  • Did'nt these guys have a cooking show called two fat ladies?

  • Hahahahah... Come on, guys! That's funny!!

  • All of that long, unkempt hair has obviously sucked all their brains out. More mindless stupidity from drug-infested, brain-dead rockers.

  • @thegreatdrbob You do realize that this is a spoof?

  • sweet, girls!!!

  • I hope you realize that these guys are not a real band. This was a promo for a "reunion" of a fake rock band about whom a "mockumentary" film was done back in the 80s. (These are the same actors who appeared in such films as Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind, which took on regional theatre, dog shows and folk music, respectively.)

  • IF you don't know this, get a copy of the movie "Spinal Tap" - it's fabulous & funny as anything! Really....

  • Who the hell are these guys? I would have to say they are a poor excuse for an accident. Ha! Ha!

  • the most misinformed conversation i've ever heard.

    i'm old...is this a send-up ?

  • @JckDupp No mate....they are deadly serious...:-)

  • haha love theese guys!
