@tigerztigerztigerz if you want fast 99 fletching, make mithril bolts, you make also profit. not much but you make profit and goes up to like 10k in 2-3mins

@AndnexsRS as you can see from the video, both provide the same amount of experience. This means that it's really a matter of how much money you have. As you can see in the section 'amount of time needed' (4:39), stringing 28 bows would cost you perhaps 55-60 sec, and cutting 27 bows would cost you 60 sec. If you are concerned about time, you may calculate which method takes the least amount of time. Whether you choose cutting or stringing, it depends on how much money you have, I think.

great guide im currently 83 fletching and ive found it very use full to have an extra knife in bank so u can just simply click the bank all button in bank and click the knife and logs makes the 1min inv. to a 59sec inv. that means if u do maples to 99 at 55 u will shave off about 22hours of work :)

Definitely the most accurate guide I've seen. Except at the end when it says that nobody buys Maple Long(u). This is definitely wrong. I have always been able to sell maple long(u) I actually still do it from time to time for a quick profit.

For fletchers.

At level 85 once you reach it start magic longbows! Cut & String, you will lose 2m gp in the process on average. Do this untill 99, but always shop around, don't just think of bows, maybe making arrows or darts will work? check grand exchange prices, think about how much you're willing to spend and the amount of time you play each day.

@MrRipper097 this guide shows the amounts for just cutting and both cutting and stringing. Stringing provides the same amount of experience as cutting, so the amount needed if you only cut is the same amount you need if you would only string. So, for example, arrow shafts from 1-10 requires 231 shafts to be cut, but also 231 to be strung (if you would be able to string arrow shafts, but you probably get my point).

You skipped oak shortbows because 10-20 you do longbows and 20-25 oak shortbows.

hey everyone, i have used this guide, thanks alot woodcuttery, awesome guide dude, 5/5. i suggest everyone to use this, and from 70-99 just do maple longs, wont even cost more than 8m. maple logs are only 38gp...usually range from 36-42 gp though in the G.E. then once you make them into longbows (u), sell them in G.E, players buy them as junk. they sell at low for 72gp per, so you make profit.

@sk8998899 You get (for example) 75 xp for cutting the bow, and 75 xp for stringing it. So if you only cut (or only string, doesn't matter, same amount of exp) you get 75 xp, and if you do both, you will get 150xp.

This means that you will need less bows if you cut and string. So you will need 33.6k bows just for cutting OR stringing, and only 16.8k bows if you cut AND string them.

ok so when your all caculating your exp on magic longs so you know with morphic tool you get 274xp per bow cut and strung im currently at 93 and i need 5455k xp till 99 so im figuring out how many exactly i need to get and how many sc knives and all that

its a tool used to make stuff, that gives double xp for the item that ur making, like yew long bow gives 75xp for cut, and 75xp for string, with the special tool its 150xp ea cut, or string :D hope ive helped you
