This thing is nice for playing around with....but its not really useful in clubs....

Jay... what you define as "useful in clubs" depends on what you are doing. The essence of hiphop is making use of things in interesting ways. As for the rest of electronica and dance music, there's no question such an openly editable system is useful. I approach the SCS.3d in the same way as the Jazzmutant Lemur, and I will publish some of my Ableton templates to that effect. Very useful IMHO. Its a controller... make of it what you will.

Kaos Pad meets a CDJ! Kinda cool idea and I'm curious to play with one. But I'll be keeping my SL1210's and A&H for now.
