Are you daft? Kogan was one of the most passionate virtuosos of all time. He was the only violinist that Heifetz respected. He trained the Great Vicki Mullova. Listen to how the frequency of his vibrato is controlled and led by the phrase. It doesn't get more emotional than that.
Actually, I was thinking of removing these two videos, cause I can't quite figure out how to get better audio...YouTube makes the sound hollow, it's much richer in the original file.
