This narration was from the brilliant tv programme "Clive James Fame in the 20th Century". As for Clive mentioning MJ and his skin whitening the programme that this narration comes from was aired some years before his vitiligo was known publically.
@A11L9E no he is not. As i mentioned in other comments the narration is taken from a tv programme that aired some years before it was known about his vitiligo.
@A11L9E you are perfectly entitled to your opinion, but at the time the programme was aired everyone was under this assumption about his skin not just Clive. Hind sight is a wonderful thing but it is not something we have the benefit of. Many assumptions are made about people which later turn out to be wrong. I like Clive as a journalist and i also like MJ who i think was a great musical genius with an amazing talent and sadly we will never see his like again .
Narrator ur wrong! He had skin disease called Vitiligo. That was in his autopsy. Vitiligo grows in patches & blotches, he had to do something to even all that out of course he is an entertainer. I would too. But no matter color, it is still him. He sings Black & White yes, but no matter what his color is - He is loved, accepted & revered all throughout the world. Don't underestimate the power of love, it conquers all ur criticisms. Color is worse yardstick to measure anyone!.
