iphone are pretty sweet. i just don't understand why people would spend $400 on upgrades just to save some extra seconds. i have a iphone 2g and it works great, have absolutely no issues with it.

The biggest difference is in the newer games cuz 3gs have much better GPU.For example princeof persia warrior within lags on my 2g but on 3gs runs perfectly.

the whole speed this is based of the firmwares. when i first got my 3g with 2.0 it was quite as fast as 3gs back then. but when i updated my 3g to 3.0 is slowed the fone so much... also the 2g was faster that 3g. if u watch the first iphone keynote u can clearly see that iphone 1.0 is far faster that 2.0 and 3.0

it is a little bit smaller but the screen size is the same. The 3gs just has more free space around the screen, but it feels better in the hand because of its size

you make it like its an absolute disaster that the iphone 2g takes maybe a second or two longer to load up a game. i dont think ill be jumping off a bridge because my 2g takes 5 more seconds to load flick fishing. And even tho it does take 20 seconds more to turn on your only gonna do that once a week maybe and you dont have to wathc it as it goes. turn it on and stick it in your pocket. it really isnt that much faster loading web pages aswell. 3Gs is only good for downloading apps faster.

I agree. I like how he says the 3GS "smashes" the 1st gen iphone. You do a good job showing the comparison. But let's be honest. The 3GS isn't THAT much faster.
