It took a lot of concentration to play the correct rhythms for memory (did it!! phew!) but I really enjoyed the process of learning and performing the piece. I think it's a visual and aural feast!

@elinorfrey it's a pretty fantastic piece of music. Michael Gordon can be hit or miss for me, but this piece and the album that it resides on is definitely on the "hit" list. :) a pleasure to stumble upon this and to meet you. if you haven't played your Ashland gig yet, say hello to oregon for me when you do. I miss it out there.
