I live in a poor area of Philadelphia & the mormons & jehovahs witnesses come always & try to convert people as well, but its funnt b/c I never have seen that done in a nice neighborhood. I thought the Navajo issues with the outside world on the video was good cause one day they will try to take over just to make some money. I grew up on the Navajo Reservation and had grandparents that were MEDICINE MEN. My grandparents died in the 100's and I have learned a lot about my culture from them. I know a lot of Navajo traditional ceremonies and it does not include POW WOW and Native American church.

I study Navajo, Japanese, and Spanish, but there's only one that matters, and that's the one I was raised with. :)

I studied Navajo since kindergarten, and Japanese since the seventh grade. However, Navajo is the only one that I speak on an everyday basis, with all my fellow college buddies.

Keep the sacred ceremonies only with the full bloods, and pretty much the Navajo traditional way isn't the pow-wow way. that was taught to us in boarding school.
