  • I wish theyput this back on tv

  • first time watching gumby and its really funny

  • "Runnin' late to my foot."

    What a badass.

  • Lol i have no idea wut i am watching but obv its a kiddie cartoon but with no lesson tought what so ever??

  • people need to quit breakin' gumby's shit.

  • what was in the box, a new train perhaps lol

  • This is the stupidest cartoon show ever, I mean it teaches nothing!!!!!!

  • I wonder why the characters talk at an unusually slow pace, as if they were reciting their lines for a school play or something, especially 3:56 - 4:16

  • I loved this show i miss it.

  • WOOOW

  • NATIVE,,,,,,that's 'bastard' , not bitch

  • hi HATE gumby. Gumby is wrong, just, wrong. My kids will never watch this shit

  • @bfs1888 wowww chill out go do your drugs an complain sumplace else Bitch

  • Im sure Denali broke the train on "accident" he was the only one that didnt get a cookie or milk! id be mad too and would need to get revenge on Gumby. and what the hell was up with that train conductor? was he drunk or on drugs? or both?

  • the yellow dinosaur was my fav :)

  • beatifull!

  • LOL "Aroused my curiosity"..."remember what curiosity did to the cat". Sounds like a sexual innuendo to me.

  • Idea for a GREAT movie: HOSTEL III. It's where Gumby, Pokey, Prikel and Goo end up on the receiving end of kitchen appliances and power tools. Gumby ends up in a vegetable chopper. Lots of laughs! *LOL*

  • What if a ten ton weight fell on Gumby? He'd look like a piece of gum that was stepped on. *LOL* Let's see THAT sometime! Then you'd have "gum"by stuck on your shoe. *LOL* NO SOUP FOR YOU! NEXT!

  • 1:44 looks like smurfet

  • What's up with this episode? Usually you'd learn a lesson from tv shows like this. Not learning from accidents like Dinali did, a life lesson! If this was teaching something it could have said "always tell the truth". But instead it just shows to replace a broken foreign possession and to not tell the owner. THAT NEVER WORKS!! I should know! I TRIED IT.

  • @Jocomjg64 Well, that "replace it before the owner gets back" thing is pretty much a really old comedy sitcom plot. They also wanted an excuse for Pokey and Prickle to go on the magic train

  • @wileyk209zback I know that though. I'm just saying in sitcoms, the truth would be revealed. Here, it doesn't. And they can still go on the magic train either way

  • @Jocomjg64 They COULD'VE told him the truth, and still get a replacement train. Besides, I remember in the Gumby episode "The Big City," when Denali broke Gumby's guitar, Gumby went and blamed it on himself.

  • I miss the old stop motion. Everything is CGI now.

  • hiliarous

  • 5:23

  • FUCK YOU GUMBY

  • he's aroused my curiousity, prickle.

    oh the memories

  • 2:33 into the video. More like mad.

  • Kinda funny how in real life, that's a Z-scale train, the smallest gauge of model railroading (even smaller than N-scale!) yet to the Gumby characters, it's the size of G-scale!

  • Good to see gumby off the drugs, his eyes are back to normal colour. And pokey is paying attention to his looks, he's running the blue contacts and has been to the solarium...

  • milk, cookies and rock and roll! Those were the days!

  • 3:10 Into the video,I could Imagine it was insulting to be called,"The Iron Horse"

  • im14 and i like this show

  • lazy ass elephant

  • this, and the indian episode are the only ones i have recorded on video, along with a few other nickelodeon classics

  • @timtrickz92 this show rocks!

  • At 4:18 watch the bottom of the screen. As Pokey and Prickle hop into the train you'll see a second Prickle! But only for a millisecond. That makes 2 Prickles in that brief second.

  • Who pays the mortgage on this farm?

  • the black locomotive that talks is actually an echo bump n go classical train. Its got the outline of a japanese locomotive but with a diamond stack and cowcather. I have one it the wheels are farther apart to fit on g scale. Gumby's train is a german z scale train set probaly from Marklin or Fleishman

  • @pennyf9 That's pretty interesting. I know Gumby also often used HO-scale trains (some scenes of the train in this episode use HO-scale models), and in the 1950s and 1960s they usually used O-scale trains (initially they used Marx, but after that they mostly used Lionel trains, especially the post-war 2-6-4 steam locomotive numbered Lionel 2035.)

  • @wileyk209zback thanks, first time I watched this I figured it out.

  • goo kinda reminds me of drew barymore lol

  • when he pulls the lever at 5:40 it makes a toilet flush sound lol!

  • they were o shrooms

  • Fuck you, Gumby.

  • Gumby gives dejavu

  • why do they all sound auto-tuned

  • Denali looks diseased, tbh.

  • @chr1s524 i comepletely agree

  • @chr1s524 When used to watch this when I was 3 years old I used to think his name was Tamelia!

  • This is an absolute mind-fuck guys, rofl seriously I must have watched this when I was 5, so I'm srsly getting like flashes of memory appear when I see things I remember clearly, like the milk in the glass for some reason....fuck this is weird. >.<!

  • fuck ya gumby!!!

  • 3:27 to 4:15 sounds like the beginning of some train porno.

  • 1:25 - Seriously, What the Fuck?

  • Comment removed

  • i love gumby! even though i havent heard of him until i saw the halloween costume soon to be mine, i seen the videos and i love him!

  • I love how the band plays FINAL FANTASY LIKE MUSIC !!! LOL

  • "He aroused my curiousity Prickle." LOL!!!!

  • 0:57 they derail it, whatch closly..

  • Wouldn't the chocolate chips kill Pokey? o_O

  • @SimaoFan Pokey is a horse, not a dog.

  • @TheGumbyCollection Last time I checked chocolate killed any animal but a human

  • @SimaoFan

Uh except any animal. Most dogs can tolerate it in small amounts, its the caffiene in it that is the issue. BTW, raccoons love chocolate candy

  • That conductor must be on drugs or something.

  • @LordShadrach that conductor is on some serious drugs.(to me)

  • The conductor seems a bit mentally challenged..lmao!

  • 3:23 Did anyone notice that the train farthest to the left resembles a lego steam engine?

  • thats a german train set

  • All aboad the milk and cookie train. :D

  • say, anyone notice the audio's double voice

  • I sure did! It sounds like they're all talking into an electric fan!

  • cute and fun thanks!

  • and that little train at the beginning is a marklin Z Train.

  • So what do you think? Do you see a possible new Casey Junior and friends character?

  • hmm. Mabey

  • If you use him, maybe he can be used in Casey Junior and the Great Discovery in the role of Stanley.

  • That's pretty neat. The train Pokey and Prickle ride on alternates between G-scale (for the closeups) and HO-scale (for the long or medium shots). Seems they most often used HO and G-scales on these 1980s Gumby shorts (the older ones had a lot of O-scale trains in them)

  • RIP Art Clokey TY 4 all the fun!

  • whos the pink clay girl?

  • Are you talking about Minga?

  • @srtwq09 That's Minga, Gumby's little sister.

  • @srtwq09 That's Gumby's sister, Minga.

  • YES! I had this on tape!

  • i wonder if the kids today'll like these shows?

it's weird. do u rember the times when are parents used to say:in my days things were diffrent and more decent etc.

now it's are turn to say it. things WERE diffrent in our day.

  • its 'our' not "are"

  • IMO I prefer thr 1950s version.:)

  • Me too, but I like some of these 80s shorts, despite them becoming an Archie & Friends clone :P

Because those trains with minds of their own have been around for a LONG time on Gumby; the earliest I recall is "Toy Joy"

  • I miss my rubber Pokey!!

  • The plot for this is kinda like something out of an old sitcom episode! (replacing the broken train before the owner gets back)

Anyone else notice the "magic" train Pokey and Prickle ride on has a diesel locomotive horn, yet it's a steam train?

  • Well, the Southern Pacific's GS-4 class has an air horn.

  • @wilek209 I know, but the Souther Pacific GS-4 had a diesel horn. Did you know that?

  • @trainguy111 I noticed that some later steam locomotives had air horns on them.

  • @wilek209

I noticed. I always notice stuff like that, being the train buff I am. :)

  • denali was really nice and cool, but was always breaking stuff.
