  • Nightmare fuel.

  • Alright guys. Group prayer... Dear God, please kill everyone of these with heavenly fire, and thus we pray. Amen.

  • @MrMattnethan Amen. DD;

  • I watched someone eat one of these types of centipede. It was alive. He popped it into his mouth and as we watched, he opened his mouth and the insect could be seen running around looking for the way out ... Then he swallowed it and chased it with his beer. I was horrified and no I am not kidding

  • Nice Scutigera!

  • @alyshaandtaylor1 I hate them too! They have always gave me the creeps......

  • i call em haul ass bugs cause they run so damn fast!

  • Quickly Kill it with Fire ! ! !

  • It's actually kinda cute. NOT like the other centipede videos I've seen here...

  • today, in my morning english class, one of these big things crawled across the floor and into a girls purse. yummy

  • You are crazy! There's no way in HELL I would do what you are doing. If I see one of those "alien" bugs(centipedes) I would pass the hell out in shock. Then wake up screaming before passing out in shock again. I give you props though.

  • EWW!! IT'S A SILVER FISH BUG!!! eww they're soo nasty

  • @alyshaandtaylor1 No it is not.

  • @alyshaandtaylor1 It's a house centipede. That's why it says "Centipede grooming close up video".

  • Aww it's adorable!! I would still murder it while screaming like a girl if it was in my home but still adorable.

  • @bellkyss88 thanks jerk ass im in bed watching this video any your saying they sting you while your in bed and their toxic.....now im gonna remake and inspect my bed, and blankets......no sleep for me lol aw heck its not your fault

  • The first time I saw one of these things in my room, I thought it was a goddamn alien bug.

  • The reason why i don't like them is because I bravely went to kill it by hitting it with a broom AND BABIES CAME OFF OF ITS BACKKKK OMGGGGGGGGGGGG.

  • @manfymahre04 ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i would've died lol

  • Awww cute! I love bugs.

  • I live in Minnesota and saw one of these on my bathroom ceiling. I ended up scaring the hell out of my boyfriend probably because I screamed like I was being stabbed.

  • This is a centipede? I thought these were over grown silverfish.

  • is that a centipede ????????????????????

  • Eww eww and double eww!

  • WHY ISN'T IT RUNNING AWAY!?!?!?!??!!

  • house centipede! :)

  • This is the bug Rebbie Jackson sang about!! LOL! JK...

  • i get thick dark centipedes around 4-6 inches in length that have short white legs and what looks like a split stinger on the end and a rounded head. Any clue if they are poisonous? I had a live one crawl into bed with me one time freaked me out.

  • @sheffieldmvp I think all centipedes are venomous, they have modified legs on their head that they use as venomous pincher-fang like things.

  • @sheffieldmvp

They have fangs beneath their rounded heads which is toxic to humans and causes severe swelling, chills, fever, and weakness. Although bites are painful, they are very unlikely to be fatal to humans. Centipede stings often occur as the victim is putting on clothes or while in bed. They usually release from the skin immediately, although there are reports of tenacious attachments requiring removal with a noxious agent such as alcohol and even surgery.

    D:

  • These guys may look creepy, but they are actually harmless to people pretty good to have around, as they eat many other, more harmful and annoying pests, such as the brown recluse spider. I grew up in a house full of these things, and I eventually got over their creepy look and some them as rather elegant creatures (and they helped me think up a Youtube name).

  • Soooo cool! :n) I'd never seen one groom before, and I've seen plenty of them. Amazing how it trusts you.

  • he's just combing his antenna for the video../

  • How exacly hard do they bite

  • thumbs up if your itching lol

  • do these kind bite or sting

  • @FLGBkzSniPeRz They bite.

  • @SilverWolf1019 no they pretty much sting

  • @roxasnriku1

They bite, I assure you. They have no "stinger". However, this particular kind of house centipede's bite will probably, at the very worst, feel like a mild bee sting.

  • @NFournaridis They don't exactly bite. They have forcipules, modifications of the first pair of legs, forming a pincer-like pair of claws. Not exactly like teeth.

  • @Rovelius

Of course! Not exactly teeth - but, it would be closer to describing it as "biting" you than it would "stinging" you. I was always under the impression that being "stung" had the connotation that a "stinger" was being used.

  • I hate these bugs with a passion!

  • ohmystarclan! when i was a little kid i found an enormuss one of those in my basement,i then promtly informed my dad that a monster was reciding in the base ment.He rolled his eyes and came down with a flash light.see the bug he's like " out you go" and tossed it out side. i love centipedes, they're so cute!

  • i always have a machete around to chop these things up if seen in my house

  • it's a house centipied whitch some people such as my self call it a silver fish

  • I've lived in my house for almost twenty years, studied local ecology, etc., and didn't see one of these until about a year and a half ago. I've only seen two more since then. One more at home (in my bathroom), and another at university. I don't know why people aren't taught about these creatures. They give me the creepy-crawlies, but they're intelligent and beneficial. :)

  • @baroquesky Yeah I had never seen one either. Unfortunately the 1st one I saw I killed. One was on my arm the other day when I woke up so I just flicked it off.

  • See hes just chillin. These bugs are not aliens lol they eat sleep and groom just like your puppy. So next time you see one of these or a spider try not to kill it. Its just trying to live and eat all the bad bugs you hate.

  • @chrono4203

If they would just stop popping up in my bed or try to crawl on me and just sit in the corner of my room eating bugs for me, I wouldn't have to kill them DX

  • @chrono4203 I once had a praying mantis that washed its face like a cat does. It was adorable.

  • The first time I saw one of these it was hiding out under my stereo speaker. It was about two inches long and scared the crap out of me.

  • I hate these creatures... How fortunate that they do not live in my country

  • is it flossing its teeth ?

  • pretty cool

  • i HATE CENTIPEDES!! i just killed 3 within 10 min

  • ew. all those legs look gross.

  • i get those in my house but none of my friends or anybody else i know have them

  • Ugh, those things make my skin crawl!

  • It looks like something from DOOM.... now imagine those little legs scampering across your face while your sleeping... yeah, sorry, im gonna mash it with a phone book.

  • @alittlecountry09 Their bodies break apart when you smash them.

  • This... isn't so bad. It's the giant hard bodied centipedes that freak me out the most.

  • i get those all the time

    i hate em'

  • Aww look at those little beedy eyes! {:)

  • @watchensee ya they are kinda cute...and wiki and other sites say they are harmless to humans. And they get rid of nasty spiders :D Go house centipede!

  • @VideoMaster1000 Well they can have any spider they want, except Fuzzy & Velvet. They're my taranculas!

  • @watchensee lol

  • @VideoMaster1000 Spiders are our friends. The house centipede eats roaches.

  • @ABGLINE and how? they can bite, and some are poisonous D:

  • damn that thing has legs up its ass

  • it just looks like a roach with an elongated body and a crap load of legs from upclose

  • its weird... the face is kind of cute. if it didnt have all those long, crazy looking legs, it might not be so scary. it looks like a long cricket with too many legs

  • @jsrfman Yea, they look cute, but their extremely aggressive and they hurt like hell when they bite.

  • @Immad1337 Not true, and they eat mosquitos and flies.

    They are not invasive neither...

who make this video is selling you stupid stuff.

  • @frrrran I was wrong about the aggressive part, they are actually the opposite of aggressive, but they do hurt like hell when they bite.

  • its surrounded by legs..it so creepy..imagine it running up ur pants :P

  • ewww i hate those things

  • Ok...the number of legs makes it really creepy and all...but there is something strangely adorable about the way it's cleaning itself.

  • I just found one of these in my sisters bathroom.

  • Silverfish not centepede

  • @UncleMarvin Silverfish do look a bit similar but they're much smaller than this type of centipede (1" to 3").

  • omfg... Nuke it!

  • Why in the world does that bug need so many legs?

  • Ok it doesn't look so creepy close up, lol! It's those fast little legs that scare the crap out of me.

  • @TheOlympicChamp "Little Legs"?????????? those things are freakin huge!

  • @TheOlympicChamp ME TOO!! In my old building they were turning the basement into more apartments. These creepy things would come up in to my kitchen!!! UGH!!! My little cat, Daisy, LOVES them! they are fast so they are a challenge to her to catch and she likes to eat them!! Blech!! Ooh!! I feel all creepy crawly now....icky!!!

  • @TheOlympicChamp I saw one running towards me so I stabbed it. Than I looked at it close up and felt bad.

  • aww so cute

  • @MarQu3 I know, I was thinking the same thing.

  • @MarQu3 you're joking right?

  • @Zerrith

    I'm not joking.

  • Hmm... It'd actually be kinda cute minus all the legs.

  • @deatXbyXchocolate335 i agree with u

  • is it going on a date?

  • why....is it not scared of that Pen??

  • OH LORDY o.o

  • you interrupted her bath time!!

  • its a geji geji

  • KILL THEM ALL!

  • I had a peedie in a jar and it was grooming itself much more actively than this one: both antennae and several pairs of legs. It was utterly revolting. But then, anything peedies do is utterly revolting.

  • Fear my many legged brethren, humans.

  • this one is not small, its adult (has 15 pairs of legs)...anyway why dont you make a video of the results of spraying one of these directly with pesticide eh? you know, to show the "effectiveness" of the spray...(i'd like to see it writhe around in pain anyway hehe)

  • ON THE WALL IN FRONT OF ME

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE

  • @junkietomato I use dictionaries.

  • They're pretty great to have around the house, most people are scared shitless of them though.

  • because of its venom n feet..

  • but they're usually to small to bite humans :)

I keep one as a pet and feed it a feeder cricket every few weeks.

  • *raises hand*

I am one of those people who are scared shitless. LOOK at that thing. One ran pass me and I nearly jumped out the window I was so scared.

  • if one is running toward me i will jump out the window no if its a story high

  • I am scared now. I better get out my spray while its still Jan.

  • god i hate bugs
