@MichaelRMcCoy I don't know if you know this, but George actually wrote this for John Lennon when he was killed. The song and the video are supposed to be about John Lennon. Further, this song actually features Paul McCartney on bass and Ringo on drums. They did it for John.
So I assume most of the people who complain about John being shown in the video are also complaining about Ringo's song Never Without You showing WAYYY too much of George...Ignorance must make the world go round :(
@MichaelRMcCoy Hey, listen to the lyrics! It's a song about John, recorded after John's death. Yeeeesh! (Having said that, it's not the best-edited video I've ever seen. It might have been a rush job.)
OK folks. I got it -- loud and clear. I was mistaken and ill-informed.
The song is a tribute to Lennon following his murder.
But the facts remain -- that John was not the 'peace and love' advocate he claimed to be. Besides his arrogance and self-importance that put me off, his treatment of his son Julian and Julian's mother was deplorable, as they languished in poverty for years -- all the while John and Yoko lived like royalty.
@MichaelRMcCoyThis is George's farewell to his friend John Lennon after he was assassinated in December of 1980. That is why you see all images from Lennon on the song.
@MichaelRMcCoy ... This was a song written by George which originally had different lyrics and was intended for Ringo to record. Ringo did record it but the range was too high and he didn't like the lyrics and after Lennon was shot dead, George changed the lyrics and recorded it to pay tribute to John. Ringo and Paul played a part in recording this song.. Ringo's drum tracks and Paul's back up vocals. George did record a song about the Beatles- When we was Fab
@MichaelRMcCoy George wrote this song John was murdered. It is about George's feelings on the loss of a friend and memories from "all those years ago". The shot of Yoko at the end was a tribute to the woman John loved.
@MichaelRMcCoy It was made to honor John Lennon's death. George came out with this one...Elton John came out with Empty Garden Years later the remaining ones used a tape of a song he was working on and made it a "Beatles" tune
If you listen to the words...he's talking about John
Haha, Thank You for making this video!(:

@MichaelRMcCoy You mean John Lennon was human and not perfect? Shocking...
