My old choir made a cover of this song, and one of us talked to them online about it. They have made up the language themselves. It is not in any known language :) call it Cosmosian if you have to put a label on it :)

I'm an estonian - have been all my life, living in Estonia and that is not estonian language. I attended a cosmos concert two years ago(a private concert) and cosmos said it also out loud that they made the song themselves and that is how estonian sounds in their opinion, to their ears - so it's actually not a language it just sounds like estonian.

Yesterday I have been in their concert. And they main guy explained that it is not a language at all. Even though they are pleased that people think that it sounds like Scandinavian or so. HAVE FUN with Crazy people. They are really nice.

Because in the second half I keep hearing the little "spoing" metallic instrument while the haired guy isn't playing obviously.

Yeasterday I noticed that and was disappointed a little. There is another confirmation of the fact that it is not a live performance: when the last one starts singing his part, his articulation doesn't coinside with the sound that we hear.

That may be explained by the way the concert was organized. May be the use of a phonogram was one of the terms of participating in the concert.

But nevertheless they were able to sing it live and even better, much better I'm sure
