Hope you don't mind me posting again I always come back and watch this video. I was planning to breed my seven year old male and female this year but with the constrictor ban up in the year I had to put that on the back burner for now. I'm SO looking forward to breeding my two they are just SO incredible.
I understand-- they are really neat snakes. I would just like to say kudos to you for being a responsible keeper, and not bringing more babies into the world if you're not sure that you would be able to find homes for them. I sincerely hope you can breed them one day!
We let it happen so that we have replacement stock. Any income from these few babies is pennies compared to our budget. Its a fun thing for the interns to get to be involved with.
5 Million Stars!!!! WHOOT!!!! More wonderful Argentine Boas In This World. Excellent Video And BIG Congratulations!!! Definitely goes to my favorites :O)
I first bred these in the 80's. In fact some of John Mack's bloodlines are from may animals. At one point I had 10 bloodlines but now only have one pair. Neat snakes.
I just totally adore the species. Mine are huge and yet so sociable and calm except on a bad snake day, but like humans we all have mood swings. LOL Mine came from Eugene and Cindy Bessette out of Archer, Florida. Great Stock!!!
where could i buy one on these? and how much do they go for?

@XXXJacka1XXX There are quite a few people who sell them into the pet trade-- search boa breeders and you should be able to find them pretty easily.

Do you breed them intentionally, or is it just something you just let happen and are the offspring an important source of income for you?
