Great glove reviews! Any experience using Twins training gloves? Twins are all the hype here in SE Asia and I would really like a western view of the brand. Thanks!
@Irlandets well you get what you pay for, these low end gloves sold at any sports store are for people who just casually train a couple times a week. higher end everlast gloves are legit though.
The wrist strap seems like a joke. How is that supposed to provide any real support? Compared to Windy's and Grants that actually have a solid 360 Velcro strap, I can't see these doing much.
everlast gloves never land flush on the knuckles, had bad experiences with everlast gloves and hitting with my fingers and lower knuckles and really takes it toll.
Everlast are ok but i just feel there are far better gloves these days. I think because everlast are an old hat name from boxing people assume they are quality. I've found them to be wanting when pitched against other or newer brands...brands like Rival have a distinct edge these days. I'd even choose other traditional brands over Everlast...Thai brands for Muay Thai boxers for example...fairtex, Twins, Top King..all high quality..considerably better than junk like Everlast and Lonsdale.
I want to order a pair of Everlast online, but the problem i am having is there is NEVER any indication of the SIZE of the glove, just the ounce the gloves weigh. I have small hands and don't want to order a pair then find out my hands are moving around too much inside a big glove. Can you recommend any GLOVE i can use and where i can order it online please.
@TimeSplitterChimp treat the oz. as if it's size. if a glove seems big on you're hands try wrapping you're hands more thickly. the imf tech gloves are snug even with out hand wraps for a 16 oz. glove. this can go well for sparring.
@ratethisgear I was wondering why this fellow never reviews TOP TEN equipment, especially headgear. I like his reviews, and would be interested in hearing his take on TOP TEN. I asked this question on the RATE THIS GEAR website but never got a response. (Sorry for the repetition, I just wanted to make sure my question was received).

You do great reviews, very objective and honest. But, we want you to start doing your glove reviews shirtless because you're totally hot. We also want to see you box.
Thats why it says trainning, theres others one that are specially for sparring, but ill recommend cleto reyes 16 oz for sparring or any other brand including everlast but of 16oz, theres no sturdy 16oz glove.
@SportmanCrew ahh thanks for replying to the comment man. any idea where to get a good pair of sparring gloves without having to order through online?
Its going to be hard to fin them on a store and not online, from walmart ro ringside theyre all online, maybe at a store called BIG 5 maybe theres one near your town, or go to walmart and search boxing gloves and there it will say if they are on the store or only online, try to buy them online its the only way they can be shipped to your home or to the store on walmart, remember 16 oz, or maybe som 14 oz with alot of cushion may do it, goodbye.
@EATMAN888 I've used a pair of Protex2's, and I've got to say it hurts real bad for both when sparring! The real thing I don't like about it is what rathisgear already said about it, the knuckles don't land flush.
I have these gloves and I have say there are very comfortable at first it does have that natural curve thing but once you break them (2 weeks for me) in it straighten up without sacrificing on protection on the risk or knuckles. It doesn't let you open up your hand as much as I'd like as.

if your wrist is bent when you hit, you are asking for a broken hand/wrist

For me being a volume puncher I always used to get busted knuckles (especial on my middle and small finger) before I started using these gloves.
