some of you are idiots, of course you cant see a black hole the name says it its black! it blends in, the gravitational effect it hs on things around it lets u know if it is a blackhole, also before anybody makes to the center of the galaxy there ships will burn up too many stars near each other and the black hole will tear it apart!
i dont understand the sens of your comment, are you illumirati or maconic ?? our have you read some base of their version of fact, sry for my english, and sry for those question im only curious to know the meaning of our univers functions, from your point of view, where scientist are wrong ? ( its possible but where )
that indian chick was in a tree when she was ''all of the sudden'' struck by illumination. If i understood it correctly it focuses on the human being and it's emotions and thought. come oooon! shure, everything we know is just there for us and revolves around us. Next !
Dig a little deeper and you'll find that what you scoff is the way reality really works. We are each the center of our little universe, just some of us realize and some of us are still clueless. Awakening minds see through the illusion of collective reality and realize that we each have to accept responsibility for our contribution to the illusional matrix.
And the truly profound realizations do strike "all of the sudden" nothing new about that, where do you think we got the term Eureka?
I've always had an interest in Astronomy since I was a child and I used to think about what exists at the centre of the milky way for years and never knew there was a super-massive black hole there until I entered my teens - and that was just briefly mentioned in a book. It's good to see that they are zooming in closer to the centre and revealing the structures there - eventually they will be able to see the disc of gas ( accretion disc ) around the hole itself, and then the event horizon.
The black hole thing is just a theory, I don't think they really exist. The scientists have brewed too many odd ideas and paradoxal consepts over the years, and discarded excellent solutions, so it is boiling down to:
name in publications + budgets = science
have a look at Electric Universe theory, I think it neatly describes all the stuff we see.
I think I've come across that before, is that the theory that describes the galaxy as a kind of dynamo ?
To be honest I had an idea a few years ago, that there is some sort of "recycler" at the heart of the galaxy and the jets we observe contain the recycled heavy constituents of old stars that get broken down - these then rain down on the galaxy disc and eventually become new stars. I actually thought the black hole did the recycling - but something else could be responsible for that.
Hm an electric universe is for one thing, fully capable of producing matter, it is a lot of twirling "channels" of fields and particle flows (currents) (as observed but kind of ignored), where any celestial object is a focal point, maybe even brought into it's shape by z-pinches in the fluctuations.. disks? they follow the electromagnetic field and acts like faraday motors
I've just read up on the electric universe - it's very interesting and provides a very good alternative to the current models. I just hope they are going to investigate it further. There seems to be one or two heavy debates going on in the "bad astronomy forum."
I have become more and more tilted towards the electric theory, because I know stuff about electricity and the "marbles" ideas never really sat well anyway, because they are too paradoxal and disputable.. It is sort of astonishing how "scientists" can shut the door on self-evident thing just because they, well, don't understand, or it doesn't fit their bias, or they fear for their sponsorships.. ;P
oh man that was a beautiful series of shots...amazing what's out there that we can't even see in our own spectrum of visible light! Even more impressive was the animation of something we have no way of determining a shape or color too since all forms of radiation get sucked in or just block it from view as it's spewed out in a blinding super heated gaseous form. Sick and mind blowing stuff right here...
I don't know still looks like plasma to me and nothing more!

yeah the black hole in the middle will suck your ship up unless you somehow made something that could get there and survive.

Hope with all their fancy equipment they will realize they have been WRONG about how our universe functions.
Check out Punk Science for some decent ideas.

If you want something more extensive then do a search for "Powers of Ten" up there in the searchfield.
