unfortunately, i know a senior citizen who tries to get attention by telling her family that her daughter abuses her, and now all the women in her family think it's true and trashtalk her daughter, who wouldn't hurt a fly. i've been telling her that in the u.s. you have to be careful about throwing the word "abuse" around because you could seriously hurt someone. speaking to her living older brothers, i've discovered she was just like this one baby in the video when she was a little girl.

The fact that they're filming him falling down, more than five times for attention shows two things;

one, that they aren't taking the child's behavior seriously and are passing it off most likely as "cute". While the second is a bit more depressing. Obviously the child isn't receiving the sort of attention he/she(?) needs, and is thus reacting in a manner that in the past, was an effective way of garnering attention.

Maybe instead of filming baby, they should interact.

They obviously found it funny, so I don't see how that's teaching the baby his actions "aren't nice". These negative actions are caused by his parents, not because he's a "bad child". I attempted only once to throw a tantrum when I was a child and my mom dealt with it appropriatly and it never happened again.
