Can someone explain to me ( and I honestly don't mean to be rude), what's so brilliant about this? It's well-produced, yes, and the sounds are interesting, yes, but it's repetitive and there's no variety. It's the same set of sounds and vocals over and over again. I'm really not trying to insult anyone's taste, I just want to understand.
@sophiafied its all in the lifestyle since you began making decisions for yourself. endless nights with friends getting close bonds. raving. sweating. mingling. having each others backs. laughing. OD-ing. taking maximum drugs. doing a BIG dance. its the life and the only way of the survivors of the night. something brought you here my friend.
p.s i couldn't listen to some happy electro on the 97 bus on way to work its not gritty enough this is real talk
@sophiafied I dunno, if there's a good groove and it's not too monotonous, I can ride it. He changes it up by bringing in different chord melodies and changing it up every now and again.
Yeah the first half might sound a lot like the last half but that's why the song's only 3 minutes. Any longer and it would have gotten boring.
@TheTelepathicKid I often feel also Zomby goes for that hypnotic effect, where he just lulls you into trance and you can't really tell if the song is moving from point A to point B or really running in circles.
@sophiafied See that low sound att 0:47? That's what I'm here for and the more its repeated the less I'll have to keep clicking the replay button. What I'm trying to say is repition is good because the sounds are a delight.
he uses the same dubplate on tears in the rain @ around 1:43...the entire song sounds like it could just be a completely different version of it...still a bahhhhnga
so fuck every other artist at this point. Zomby is always going to be on point. Complete and utter faith in this music right now. fuck dude they dont what to do about you lol.
@BLOWtom i dont care about who he made the album for, it was still shit. youre telling me if burial released an album of him smashing plates on the floor whilst throwing cutlery at his windows to reminisce a lost relative, it would be good? no lol
Glorious.

@sophiafied It's not really something you can explain. You either feel it or you don't.

Im sorry dedication is cool, but a couple of those tracks should have been shelved IMO. Now this tune right here, hard to beat. A craftsman at work.
