There will be a Ghostbusters 3 in CGI with the same cast except for Sigourney Weaver. She said no but I know that Harold and Dan did something for that. The videogame will be here on 10-21-08 and GB3 in CGI next Summer of 2009. Bill Murray agreed to voice for a third film and the videogame. Just to note the videogame isn't GB3. GB3 will be here in 2009! The videogame is a sequel in videogame form for the two gb movies!

There is a script written for ghostbusters 3 ( GHOSTBUSTERS GOES TO HELL) but nothing as been filmed. Bill murry as turned it down twice but as helped out in the game and dan akroyd would not denie that there wouldnt be one. Also heared the if they cant get bill murry on side that it will be turned back to the original cartoon in 3D which wouldnt be that bad i am a fan of them but would love to see a 3rd film with the same cast.

There is no third movie, gagbonkers. The CGI "movie" was a cover for the video game. Bill Murray is publicly opposed to anymore GB films, and the other castmates need his approval. The video game is what we'll get. Nothing more. Not to mention the castmates are far too old to be doing this anymore and Murray has moved on past his old comedy material. That and the fact that he and Ramis are not speaking to each other and have not done so in nearly 20 years.

I'm happy with the idea of a computer game. I'd loved to see a third movie, but back in the early 90's. It's sad to see that geriatric turn in cinema with Indiana Jones, Rambo and so forth trying to warm up old stuff in lack of new ideas.
