Mines components will not sell well in the US. Why? Because Mines parts are expensive and they are made of precision detail for the best overall balance in high response and power. Mines parts are for those who want a GTR that accelerates fast, turns fast, stops fast, and provides high response. A real high performance car. But majority of US market just want a GTR that can do nothing but go straight, hence, they settle for parts that just gives high hp and low 1320 times. Thats it.

Around the Nürburgring, so far the R35GTR has beaten the Pagani Zonda,Porsche Carrera GT,Porsche 911 GT2,Koenigsegg CCR, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren SLR 722 GT - AND THE -Bugatti Veyron. It beat the Porsche 911 GT3,Ford GT , Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06- BYSHITLOADS -,Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and the other Pagani Zonda S. Guess the yalready brought it !!!! LMAO

Lol, i know that comments 5 months old. But it did. Im a GT-R fan though so i'll say this. The GT-R that set those times was the base model, the ZR - 1 is the top of the line vette. We've yet to see what the V - Spec, V - Spec 2, Nur's, N1's whatever, will perform like.

yea i know it did, as far im concern how we know GM didn't cheat with the ZR-1? even with 638HP, it barely beat the Base GTR. Did u check out "ZR-1 vs GTR", its an InSideLine Test? Even with all that power, the ZR-1 ran 1/4 11.5 and WillowSpring Track, beat the GTR by 1 second. Hmmm..ur rite, the V-Spec is going to handle its business on the track against the ZR-1...

Theres loads of speculation about the GT-R cheating, the fastest lap set by one of the ring vets was 7:29... But seriously, it just proves that the extra 200bhp in the ZR-1 is doing NOTHING!

first right coment I´ve seen about GTR, its a 4 seater 1700+Kg and 480Hp against the top version af a crapy american car whit 600Hp and a very stiff suspension how will break your back on street roads...have someone seen the Mines R34 how accelerates?!! just imagine the R35

You're absolutely right. The VR38DETT engine was supposedly tuned by Cosworth (Of English F1 fame) and early dyno runs pegged it at 520 HP in all stock trim. Nissan actually detuned the motor's computer for production. Not only that, but the V Spec isn't nearly as light as it could be, leaving me to assume that Nissan's got bigger plans for it's GTR.

i haven't read anything big on the r35, but i doubt you could do much upgrading to the car anyway. its good though that it has a 3.8L V6. the japanese market is finally learning that there's no replacement for displacement haha. i'd actually like to see the GTR go up against a Z06. too bad when the GTR comes out, so does the ZR1. 620+ horsepower from a supercharged 6.3L V8. bring it nissan ;)

Nissan said that the GT-R has an untunable ECU and exhaust maniflds which have been said to be untunable as well cause it's hooked to the turbo.

Yes, I read the same thing, BUT I've seen after market parts that will comply with the ECU, like exhaust, stiffer springs, free floating air filter (mainly to allow more air to pass through, and lighten the car just a bit more). But as far a 'tuning' the ECU, i've read it's impossible.

Give me an FULLY LOADED GTR BNR32 level of "up to" 800horses with not much inside, bucket seats 3 spoke classic momo some titanium shift knob and a rollcage, NO TSC no ABS and im good!!! this is waaaay tomuch, its not fun as light weight cars.OK its fast, i dont care has to be fun let be a 130hp ae86 and up...

the R35's ECU cant be tuned... n if anytink is done to mod the performance, the sensor on the car will alert the dealer... and nw only Mine's, MCR and Top Secret ar even access to tune the car...

it can and they have already mine's is offering a full range of goodies including their uprated ECU on their website now. titanium exhaust is well tasty. cannot wait till they get into the guts of the engine.
