  • would 1 big tank be better

  • 1 persson is a looser

  • why the two tanks wouldn't a buddy bottle just be as good ? if not better than twins?

  • @studogg99 I guess, but the balance may be different (the TC's is really nice in the shoulder) and, of course, Air Arms haven't got their reputation by being a 'follow-my-leader' gunmaker (well, maybe in the TX200!!!! LOL) - they like to push the boundaries all the time. I wouldn't knock them for that...

  • @AirgunTV yeah i agree got to put something new out there just strange looking like the idea of the new innervation they do. wasnt try to knock air arms they have some extremely high end stuff.

  • @AirgunTV

Air arms don't do a buddy bottle design at all do they? I guess the trouble with buddy bottles is they make the rifle look a bit ugly and they make them front heavy.

  • Thanks Nigel I'll look out for a copy. I lost interest with the previous one's, as they became totally predictable with glowing reports of everything tested. I look forward to reading it- cheers, James

  • Well if I had a hat I would raise it to you Nigel. I gave up on the 'perma praise' magazines you edited due to the bias on everything reviewed. I stand sincerely corrected and will watch this and your other reviews with an open mind.

    Good on you

  • @JBAlitalia Thank you. And I'm guessing you have also not got hold of a copy of my new magazine (Airgun Shooter) - which has won awards from the British Media industry, and a huge following based on its fresh new approach to airgun journalism. You should; I've a feeling you might be pleasantly surprised. ;)

  • I lost faith in Nigel Allen years ago, never a negative word to say about any rifle he tests. Anyone would think he daren't upset the manufacturers incase advertising was stemmed!

  • @JBAlitalia Then clearly you haven't watched this video! There's a few things I don't like about the rifle... and I'm more than inclined to go on record and say so! But, of course, you're entitled to your own opinions...

  • Great...I just ordered my 510C and now I see they're coming out with a TC Carbine! Oh well, it may be a while before they bring it here to the States anyway.

  • Cock and balls comes to mind..

  • What is that scope u have used on this airarms nigel?

  • @sheyon1000 It's a Simmons 3.5-10 x 50 WTC (Whitetail Classic)

  • air arms; is one of the best value for money air rifle makes out there in my opinion, excellent solid rifles. :-)

  • great review it dose ping in cylinders and firing hammer and i alwaysd worried about safety in trigger not alot to make near perfect come on air arms the shoote are worth it !!!!!

  • @AirgunTV the bipod video you've requested might take some time. As I've just had to put it in for repair. The lovely s510 tc has developed a leak. So I'll get the vid done as soon as I can. Plus side is the bloke at the shop has offered me his s410 until mine is fixed. Which is nice of him.

  • This video should have WAAAAAAAAAAY more views! Excellent review, thank you!

  • @tkach21 Thanks. (It's only been on a day... so, hopefully, it will get more views in due course!!!) Nige

  • Great video, and a great rifle, I'm a lifelong Weihrauch fan, but Im sold on this gun. That side lever looks a dream to use. I fully agree with Nigel though, I HATE that safety lol Get it off the blade AirArms!!!

Again a great video, more like this please.

  • @mrmactknife I intend to make more - but it's very time-consuming. Even after I've done all the testing, finding the time to bring it all together in one (half-decent) movie is tough. But I love doing it... so rest assured that more are on their ways... (And Giles - of AirgunGear - is going to help me with the filming, so that'll make life a lot easier.)

  • Nice review that Nigel.

Good to see someone that also points out bad points about a rifle as well as all the good ones.

    5 stars buddy *****

    Si.

  • @Zinaroon Thanks Si - you know me. Credit where it's due... but poor points DO need to be brought to the viewers' attention

  • Awesome Rifle Great Review weldone m8 5/5

  • Nice review, only what I do not like in AA is filling port, and that in new model is still the same :/ but most important is accuracy and this is AMAZING in s400,s410 and s510 series!

    Regards!

  • @krysks04 I rather like the filling port. It's quick - the 'lock' is most reassuring - and that on-board sintered filter ensures they never leak...

  • Fantastic job Nigel I see I have taught you well =)

    THUMBED AND FAVED!

    ATB Malc

    CPTV

  • @CountryPursuitsTV Aye, Malc. Although this one WASN'T shot on my Canon!

  • @AirgunTV Oh..... What did you use? Ah OK the penny has just dropped =)

  • Ok really nice review and rifle Im thinking to get one for myself. This system of venting the air out of the barrel would be the same as the EdGun with the Matador supposed to have ?

  • @Tebanlol Same principle

  • Very nice Airgun, way out of my price range but never the less a beautiful piece of kit.

  • @lewis4642011 Trouble is, I find 'nice anything' usually is out of my price range, too!!!

  • I own one of these air rifles and I agree with this review. It's really accurate and I can hit a 10mm spinner at 45 yards with mine. It gets a lot of attention when I'm at the range. I have two videos of mine on here. I have fitted a bi-pod to mine so it is possible. Please feel free to check out my videos, as I was the first person to have a video of one on YouTube. Also mine does not make that noise when fired.

  • @TheSeanmccowliff Could you do a video short on how you fitted that bi-pod Sean?

  • Congratulation, more good news.

  • Nice gun, excellent view.

  • @Gusman9mm Thank you.

  • how much could one expect to pay for this weapon and would it be available in a full length rifle form?

  • @adoptableplum Yep - they're available in 'Rifle' (full length) format. Price in UK is 854GBP

  • @AirgunTV thank you i think i shall be buying one once i find out where to buy one lol

  • @adoptableplum Air Arms' website should give you the dealers

  • S510-SL with more shots.

What is the balance on it like compaired to a SL?

How deep is the fore section where a stud would be fitted on the stock?

    Looks thin in vid...

Looks different, but better than buddybottle setup to be fair.. :)

  • @Skarsnik007 Balance is supreme - the best-handling Air Arms I've ever shot. The forend section is probably too thin to use a standard screw... but, I think, because the cylinders straddle the centre line of the forend, it MIGHT be possible to use one in conjunction with an inlet nut (on the inside). It would need to be accurately drilled, but I reckon it's 'do-able'. I also reckon it's not worth doing! A) the rifle's light enough to do away with sling and B) it'd ruin the perfect hand position

  • @AirgunTV Thanks for info. Use an S510 SL .22 myself with a bi-pod, some questions came up at the end of shoot cup of tea. If it's as accurate as the SL any owner of the TC will be over the moon. Keep the vids coming.
