  • There was a band a few years ago called Pentecostal Bouffant. I see now where they got the name! That is one of the most dynamic hairdos I've ever seen!

  • Vestel's laughing because she choked on the first note. I'm glad i had the opportunity to meet and work alongside these folks. Good people they were.

  • I miss these folks. As long as I live I will remember what Vestal did for me that night long ago when she called me out and ministered to me. From that time, she was my example. Twice I've gotten far from God, but Jesus never let go. Tonight I'm so thankful for the sweet Holy Spirit and for my friends who kept praying for me.

  • Is Jubilee (w/ Happy Goodmans) on DVD that anyone knows of?

  • that's what a woman's hair is supposed to be is long because the bible says long hair is a woman's glory she sure did look better their

  • @lacielo9 I so agree with you!

  • @lacielo9 you know shes wearing at least 1 hair piece right?

  • She had a powerful voice...and a tower of power to back it up!

  • This music makes me want to run the aisles in a " Church of God " church. Praise the LORD !!

  • @TheLizardKing1967 I think God would prefer it made you want to go wittness but I understand and enjoy this old music a lot too!

  • @gymregular It's a FREE country for now, until the NWO steals our freedoms soon.

  • What a wonderful sound! And in my opinion, Vestal looks beautiful with her little or no makeup...and the hair is really amazing.

  • This was the true glory days for big hair! Love me some Happy Goodmans

  • The Goodman's sound was really

great in Harmony and one of the best

    sounding Bands on stage going.

  • Once again, the Goodman's set the STANDARD!!! Mark

  • WOW

  • Who is the shy little guy playing the steel? Does anybody know if he still plays today?

  • @kidgreenville ~the guy on the steel is "Jack Smith" . He WAS married to Vestal & Howard's daughter (Vickie). No longer playing the steel. Lately he's been on Nancy Grace, etc with the missing "Baby Gabriel". They live in Phoenix, AZ. He was one of the greatest Steel pickers EVER!

  • I Loved the Goodmans, these old video's are great, please keep posting them

  • Great Video, lovely to see Vestal,Howard & the Family.I used to like hearing Vestal & Howard sing on the Gaither Homecoming DVD`S. I will see them again one day. BLESSINGS

  • Yes, the Hemphills did this song; in fact, I believe Joel wrote this one. A great trio here and excellent piano work by Eddie.

  • If I remember right, I think The Hemphills did a version of this song back in the 70's or 80's.
