thats what happens when you go for quantity instead qualit, but there wouldnt be any demand of these crappy guitars if you stupid fucks wouldnt buy them.
i dont care how cheap they are ill never buy a guitar thats is built on the exploration of poor Korean and Indonesian people. Only Japanese and American people.
fuck'em..... there just a bunch squinch eyed slope headed gooks!!! ooops!!! my mistake... the vietnamese are the gooks.... they are just slope heads, but they ALL stink like kim-chi.
big companies as nike make their manufactures in asian poor countries where you have lots of men, women and kids working over 16 hours / day, with a monthly salary that is not nearly as necessary to buy a shoe that they made..
All the Cort Korean made Fender Squier guitars from 1990 - 1995 with the Black Squier logo are MADE OF PLYWOOD!! Don't think so? Open the Trem plate and scratch off some finish vertically and learn. If the Strat Squier Sunburst finish model has black edge sprayed into the Contour relief cut areas at the hip and arm - it's PLYWOOD! They were hiding the wood edge.
@mattallica464 thats a dumb argument... living conditions and purchasing power vary across countries, monetary value cannot be compared on such a level
It was a statement. What does an average rent cost there? In the USA unless you live in a ghetto or a trailer park rent will cost you at least $500-600 a month. If you want to buy a house you're looking at At least $1000 a month. If things can be produced and sold so cheap from there certains thing must be cheaper there, but i've never been there.WITHOUT offense to anybody but if these guitars cost double the money nobody would buy them, then there would be no jobs like here in the usa.
@mattallica464 $500-$600 a month? I don't know where you're living, but in most parts of the US, that will get you a stinking shithole of an apartment or house whose property managers don't care about keeping it up to code, and a person who is working full time at minimum wage would barely be able to keep up with rent as is.
ibanez, squier, and many more guitars are also made in cort factorys, because its one of the most biggest guitar factorys that exist, and i agree that the working conditions are bad, but so are most factorys in that country.
i think in indonesian is so far going well. i live in jakarta indonesia, and i know exactly the where's the factory, and in indonsia so far there's no bad news about this factory. i have one of their product the cort x6. and its sounds good for the price that i pay. :)
I'm so glad Ibanez has pulled the plug on their coöperation with Cort.
Working conditions in that company have to change.
Now, don't get me wrong. If I damaged 1100 euros worth of products where I work by falling, I'd catch hell for it too.
Where I live, though, Cort guitars are incredibly cheap for the quality - a sign that something has been skimped out on. Learning that that "something" was the working conditions and wages of the employees isn't particularly reassuring.
well DUH!!! if I would damage 1000euro worth of products in my company I would also be in big trouble! CORT are great guitars! If they don't like the job, quit....
It´s a serious game, we western people MUST start buying only western manufactured products.
