@thorntongifts As individuals, there truly is a lot we can do. You're right that the government has the most power and their lies are destroying so much environment... but people are to blame as well for making uneducated decisions when buying things. Plastic is one of the most destructive problems we face right now - just look at the 5 floating gyres in our oceans. Using less plastic is a massive step in the right direction. No bags, no bottles, no styrofoam... Thanks Laird Hamilton!!!
Thank you Laird and thank you Surfrider! It seems so clear to me that off shore drilling and oil in general are not the answer. We as consumers have to take responsibility and do whatever we can to move away from this industry by using less oil and demanding alternatives.
There is much we can do to help. Hybrid cars, public transportation, using less plastic, etc.
@staticguy your kinda offbase, the first car ran on peanut oil, biofuel, Tesla DID discover free energy, they suppressed that too, so you should rethink this reality, THEY are making YOU feel guilty for THIER lies...and praying, lol, also thier work.
You guys cannot see the big picture. This was done on 4/20/10 the anniversary of Hitler cuz we defeated thier carbon taxes/global warming. And your playing right into thier hands by saying stop our industrial capacity. The New World Order are not dumb. Every single fish or lifeform in that ocean is doomed, permanently, comprehend? Next will be the WW3 distraction as the globalists withdrawal from all attention. Its also leaking methane, benziene and aresenic into the AIR!
The ocean can and will recover from a spill like this (although not quickly). It has happened before, and unless people ACT, it will happen again.
The only way to make global changes, is to get millions of people engaged, and DOING things differently.
Try convincing 300 million people of your conspiracy theory. Now try to convince the same 300 million people to take one step in the right direction. Which is going to make the most progress towards change?
@dnicely42 So programmed your responses. Try turning off the TV sometime...on second thought dont. Frankly, not trying to convince anyone of a theory. Or a conspiracy, your are not omnipotent, you know not that which I see. Its ok, we might care for you in a time of need.
I live on a sailboat. I haven't seen a television in years. get a grip.
I am not attacking your 'theory', just saying there are better ways to make changes than telling everybody they are wrong. Surfrider are the good guys, they have made more positive changes on this planet than you can dream of. And you want to tell them they are doing something wrong? what are you doing that is so right?
