on ur second problem ... cant u simplify x-5 / x^2 as x-5/ x X x and cancel x frm numerator and denominator to make it -5/x and when u substitute 5 in it u will get -5/5 = -1 as ur answer?

Great videos, but I think I saw a mistake,

(a-b)²=a²-2ab+b²

so:(h-5)²=h²-2h.-5+25

= h²+10h+25

So the final result should be +10 instead of -10

Not really. In those formulas' cases the 'a' and 'b' factors don't take the sign. It's implied in the formula. That's why there's a difference when cubing a sum and difference ;) it's something like this:

(h-5)²=h² - (2h*5) + 25

:)

no, I think he's right:

(a-b)²=a² - 2ab + b²

(h-5) ² = h² - 2h5 + 25

it's not:(h-5)²=h² - 2h.-5 + 25 because if you write that way it will turn out to be (h+5)²
