  • Hey that's the room at Peter Prier's Violin Shop in Salt Lake City, UT where the expensive violins are.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not sure if the violin is genuine but I can tell your talent is real!!

  • this is not a jacobus stainer violin

    it is a copy!

  • Good Morning.... i found a copy of an Jacobus Stainer violin 4/4 ... but doesnt have the fingerboard, i want to fix it but the normal fingerboard its to big for the violin, do you sell fingerboards?? or do you know a place when i can found it?

    Thank You. :D

  • @kobinski i know its been 1 year ago, but if u still haven't found it just go to a luthier, a luthier will set up a fingerboard on your violin according to the size of your violin's neck.

  • I like You :) You Got Talent

  • i have a copy of a stainer would it be worth anything

  • @dizzyinzo most likely not I'm sorry to say. depends on who made it, when it was made, and where it was made.

  • I love this song so much!!! I am trying to learn it right now actually.

  • I visited the home of Jacobus Stainer in Austria in 1987 and saw his workshop. Also saw a real violin at a bank. It had he head of a boy on it. Also got a commorative coin. I have my father's Stainer, but it's probably a copy

  • does it cost much? : )

  • i played a stainer once.

it was really hard to sustain a good tone.

  • ohh i think i heard chipmunks..... sorry... but i know its a really great violin....

  • Ah, he played Nicolo Paganini, not sure which piece!

  • It is Caprice No.4

  • i was wondering what worth is my violin its a hermet schartel a hand crafted romanian instrument and is it any good does it have a good sound because im picky with the sound of a violin i want it to be a pretty sound

  • ive got the same violin. has that steiner got a stamp at the back of the violin that says steiner

  • Sorry,we are not sure the label, but have detail information inside the violin. This violin is owned by Peter Prier and not for sale. It may be arround US$2,000,000-.

  • Everybody seems to have a stainer copy, label or not, lol. I have a lionhead violin and I've seen a few different looking heads, but mine seems unique.

  • Everything is for sale ;)

  • If it has Stainer stamped on it, its almost guaranteed to be a copy. Not that its not worth anything, just probably not the high price that a Stainer demands.

  • how much did you buy it for!
