  • Sad that such awesome music gets only 10 views everyday, while "teach me how to dougie" gets like 5,000 a day

  • คนไทย !! เพราะมากก

  • Wow this song isnt actually hard! I printed out the sheet music thinking that it would take a lot of practice. But i sight read right through it and its easy! The power of a song sounding reallu diffifult until you try!

  • Wonderful playing from the depth of the soul. no extravagant pompous display of techniques. But from the heart. A wonderful composition. No words to describe. Just wonderful

  • Amazing!!!!... words can not express the sudden wave of emotions brought by his music, its just incredible!!!

  • Yiruma, Yiruma I love your music! ♥

  • Sunbeams, they scatt-ahh.

Oh Yiruma, I love you <3

You are my favorite pianist. c':

  • Yiruma makes me want to learn how to play an instrument.

Now, if only I would give up my PE elective...

  • His songs are always named perfectly. When I listen to this my heart warms and it actually feels like I can feel the sunlight on my face. : ) <3

  • yiruma is only himself when he plays the piano, he's like born to play it..

  • He is awesome!!!!!!! And u can sense his emotions while playing!! He makes me want to learn how to play piano again!

  • Yiruma is the real Edward

  • I remember hearing this in a movie... and i only relized that it was in Twilight by reading these comments.... XD

    This song is so calming

  • I love how he says the title.. ~

  • i knew of him WAY before twilight ever existed. it makes me sad that that sorry excuse for a story (twilight is nothing except overrated fanfiction) is now associated with this great artist...

  • Don't injured your fingers.

  • omg~ i lv korean~

    yirumaaaa <3

  • It's interesting, because as easy/repetitive as it looks, it actually requires a lot of skill in terms of accents and tempo. I think the pure simplicity of this song is a factor as to why it's so beautiful. It's such a magical song that never fails to warm me. Yiruma's truly amazing.

  • I closed my eyes and saw the most dazzling sunrise on the beach with the sunbeams playing on the water... simply stunning

  • if this would be called "mosquitos flying around" or "water dripping from the mountain" or "rain in the woods" or what ever, a lot of people would say "Whooo it really sounds like mosquitos/water/mountain"

Great piece anyway, Yirumas music is love.. love to music

  • Who got to know Yiruma beacuse of Kibum? Anyone? :D

  • sounds like scattering sunbeams

  • @Misanthrope08 Woohoo! :D

  • screw twilight

  • genius!

  • pshh screw Mozart we got Yiruma

  • Who were the crazy people that disliked this song??? It makes me want to close my eyes and spin around in circles in pure ecstasy :)

  • he doesnt have a british accent when he speaks even in a different language and hoow i know this is imopossible what im about to say but for real this song really sounds like sunbeams are falling from the sky and falling against the floow and going all over trying to warm you with their wondorous beauty and power this song is truly beautiful and Yiruma's talent is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I lol'd when he said "S-sombims De Scettoh" No offense intended.

    Yiruma rules!

  • I should be studying, but this is wonderful and I can't concentrate

  • Why do most of these comments have spelling and grammar errors! So annoying!

  • @Missfishy500 maybee coz its youtube and ppl dont really give a shit how they spell? 3v3r th0ught 0f th4t?

  • @Missfishy500 well maybe because english in not there first language (like me) and youtube is for fun and entertainment plus we are here to enjoy Yiruma nothing else not criticize others.. no offense but is my opinion

  • @Missfishy500 You should have a question mark in there, and in order to be a complete sentence and not a fragment you need "It's" in the second part. If you insist on complaining about others' written English, make sure yours is flawless first.

In other news, Yiruma is great ^_^

  • @Missfishy500 Also, it should be either "grammatical errors" or "errors in their spelling and grammar". There's no such thing as a "grammar error".

  • sorry. my little brother was on my account.

  • Why do both of the Top Comments as of 22/05 have spelling errors in them?

  • @NessSophie actually what PurpleZebras150 said XD

  • It's simple enough to read a page of music and play it on a piano. But to put as much emotion in it as Yiruma does is not easy. You have to love the music A LOT.

    Yiruma ROCKSSSSS :D

  • @PurpleZebras150 Well put :)

  • How are his piano pieces easy? The simplicity, and passion in his music is almost impossible to re-create.

  • @Kbgoddess123 totally agree with you!

  • This is just gorgeous.

  • if i look on his hands i can't understand how this godly music comes from that ... only close eyes and listen <3

at all i love the music <3

  • oi ne ne drai vuy goca

  • this man =)

  • genio!!!!!

  • does anyone know what he is saying at the beginning? i cant understand korean =/

  • If a guy played that for me I would defintley fall in love with him

  • Well the 'Happy Brithday' Song is Easy as hell. And look how well known it is. So Easy isn't a bad thing, is it?

  • omw haha i love his voice!! :)

  • I see a girl dressed in the sun dancing across a flowery field with this.... piece of heaven... playing in the background.

  • some of his songs are just in a repetitive arrangement chords but the incredible thing is the way he deliver those notes.just amazing

  • Easy? Possibly. But even if it is, the songs sound amazing. Easy+Amazing = Learn to play it, you'll impress people.

  • Music is the universal language. Everyone can understand it, feel it. His music is so beautiful, I could listen to it all day. And I often do.

  • @coconutponi What about deaf people..?

  • @Hellion6325 Good point here.

  • @coconutponi i agree completely.

  • Its not about how easy it is to play, composition of the music is the real talent here.

  • this is the first time when i hear Yiruma songs...........it´s amazing and beautiful!!!!

  • He's really good...I love him

  • fuuuuuuuckinggggggggg geniuuuuuusss i love this guy, really !!!

  • Comment removed

  • @KirWypMik Hitting the right note might be easy (although I doubt that), but to put as much feeling into it as he does is a different story

  • i. n.v u! u r amazing. i wish i could b just like u

  • All I can say is Wow!

  • The people who pressed the dislike button are HATERS. Having Anger Towards Everyone Really Successful!! :)

  • ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 나도 방가워

  • @KoreaVANKChannel Dude this is randomly weird

  • I've never seen this man.He is just a wonderful composer...

  • There should be a "love" button, 'cause I'd press it a million times. One of his less popular songs, but I think it's one of the greatest :D

  • this piece of music is totally awesome... tho it not as popular as his other pieces

it really reminds me of the scattering sunlight, how bright they shine all over...

  • like this if twilight didn't bring you hear

  • @NessSophie LOL sorry to interrupt you getting your likes but i just wanna say that YOU FAIL ENGRISH. its here. :D lol jk

good video i played this for jyp

  • @EpicPwninAzn -.-

  • @NessSophie Omg yea that totally pissed me off that EVERYONE thought freaking River Flows In You was going to be Bella's lullaby. >.>

  • @emz33 i know right!?

  • @NessSophie i don't get how twilight would of brought you here?

  • @EmRyCullen Heaps of people use Yiruma's music for their twilight fan videos and end up here after watching them, i think..

  • @EmRyCullen Twilight stole his songs and used them in there stupid rubbish movies.

  • @HauntedInsaneToaster Those movies are more than rubbish :P

  • @iHeartshushix3 yeah, they're a step up from rubbish: they're just plain bad.

  • @HauntedInsaneToaster No they didn't. There's not one song on the Twilight soundtrack from Yiruma.

  • @BecandYami well they definitely stole from Debussy. every time i play Claire de Lune, someone always says "Hey, that's twilight!" It really annoys me that they associate such a classic with a contemporary, licentious movie. (yes I HAVE seen twilight).

  • @pixarpianofreak They didn't steal anything. I don't know if you've read the books or not, but in the first book Edward has that playing in the car when he's driving Bella home after she fainted from a blood test taken during her biology class.

It's fine that you don't like Twilight, and I'm not going to try and persuade you to like them, but have a little respect for people who do enjoy the movie's.

And finally, do a bit of research before you make a comment about a song.

    That is all :)

  • @BecandYami so then they used it in their books too? of which the movies were based on? and i fail to see how you can know what was playing on the radio in a car in a book...

  • @porkfillets No, none of Yiruma song's where used in the books. And the reason I know that Edward is playing Clare De Lune in the car is because it actually states it in the book. Alright? Good. No more of this nonsense.

  • @HauntedInsaneToaster gracias a crepusculo yo conosco a yiruma

  • @dulcemaria1593 Yo no hablar español. Lo siento. :(

  • Oh gawd look at his hands

  • This song honestly made me want to start playing an instrument, Like right now!

Ignore the fact that I can't teach myself, ignore the giant essay I'm procrastinating on finishing... And just play.

This makes me melt, and feel absolutely Alive...

There truly is a meaning to life in this world, and it is right here, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or anything else! =D

  • @drizzitfan I completely agree! :)

  • @drizzitfan

Know how you feel bro, but this isn't a song learned within a year this is the speed of Impromptu fantasia. It's epic to play piano you should go for it! :)

  • @drizzitfan I totally feel what you say...

If life were a cloud right now...yiruma's music is the sun's ray that lifts the veil of shadow to reveal life...not as a cloud but as a melody.....

    - An Indian who fell in love with piano thanks to yiruma's music.

  • is he ever going to perform in europe? i hope so !!!

  • his songs are not about being easy or hard for others to play,

it's about simply expressing the deepest of human emotions.

  • @62642luver even if? lols.

  • @62642luver lol yes he is~his name is spelled like 이루마 in korean and at the beginning he says "the next song is the sunbeams they scatter"

    : P

  • @TheRachmaninoffFan 안녕하세요.. lol :P

  • @Hellion6325 네 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 안녕하세요~~ 누구세요? ^^

  • @TheRachmaninoffFan LOL ㅎㅎ 만나서 반갑습니다

  • good music doesn't have to be hard. it is irrelevant how simple or difficult the song is, or how it was played. its still beautiful.

  • close you're eyes and you can see the sunbeams 2!

  • I really like this piece..!

  • I wish there was a Synthesia version of this so i could learn it :<

  • his song arent easy i stated plaing piano when i was 5 and steel off

  • вау, он так классно играет!!!!!! просто супер!

  • Beautiful(:

  • @thesurvival15 nah man, that's cool..nothing is weird if that's what you feel.

  • This is crazy, but you know what this reminded me of? In Ray Bradbury's interpretation, Venus was a really rainy planet and the only time it ever stopped raining and the sun came out was one hour once every seven years. This kinda made me imagine what it would be like for the sun to come out then and illuminate the white, dead jungles... And then go away again. XD It's a weird comparison, I know.

  • Well, some of them are relatively easy, but some are extremely hard. :P He composes a huge range of epic songs. It's not like they're all easy, or all really hard...

  • OH GOD! I love him so much!!!! <33333 :D

  • Love the intro!! so.. sunshine-like :)

  • Yes he is great

And yes, this song is great

But then again, which song of him isn't?

I la la la love him and his music(L)

  • The picture I get is rays of sunlight peeking through slowly clearing black clouds and illuminating a beautiful landscape... Meadows, mountains, rivers.

  • Everyone who's saying that his songs are easy, is just jealous!

  • @ImkeOriginals Everyone? What about the people who have learned his songs and play them?

  • Comment removed

  • @Jasonpason1 That other people can play it, doesn't mean that the song is easy!

  • @ImkeOriginals I bet those who say that can't even COMPOSE REAL MUSIC. Just saying. ;)

  • @ImkeOriginals not always, i listened to A river flows in you, and its quite a simple song and i can now play it on the piano, and i am not a pianist. Yet, even if they are simple, they are beautiful and i admire him

  • @ImkeOriginals This song is everything except easy! :P

  • @ImkeOriginals They just look hard~ They are actually rather easy. But it also depends on the level of the player. It might be easy for someone whose been playing for 6 years. But hard for someone playing for 3.

  • @kikumaruxamuto The sheet music for Destiny of Love looks impossible lol

  • @Hellion6325 Haha I know!!!

  • @ImkeOriginals the simplicity of the song is irrelvant, it's beauty and it's emotion matters more :)

and lol ... I'd hardly say this was 'simple' or 'easy' to play!!! :P

  • @ImkeOriginals actually it is, but in the world of art. a simple painting brings more compassion, and insiration then a complex one. so in a way i rather say yes it is. its simple.

  • @ImkeOriginals We'll not necessarily lol. They are incredibly simple to play...once you learn them that is. They start out simple, so you want to learn how to play them, get hooked, then later on in the songs he switches it up to give you a challenge without making it TOO hard. Which is why I love playing his songs, not to mention they just sound absolutely beautiful :)

  • @ImkeOriginals Not really.

  • @ImkeOriginals they are easy to play but its still nice

  • whoa!!!!!!! that's incredible!! I love this guy, I seriously want to meet him! :)

  • someone exist like him in this world,, thank you~

  • Comment removed

  • he can make people stop whatever they are doin and listen....and be drawn to it...his music is simple and straight forward but he can express alot of emotion in one phrase..and that's what a great composition

  • Close your eyes and imagine rays of light unfolding and piercing through endless darkness.

    Amazing.

  • @falzarxgregar I don't need to imagine...that picture jumps to my mind all the time when I hear this

  • @randomcheezitperson

You mean you don't have to consciously imagine it.

  • Everytime I play this my hands hurt afterward..... Worth it

  • @Norpull Where did you get the notes for this? i want to learn this song..

  • @Norpull Do you have the sheet music of this song??!!

  • love his work so much noone like him he is truely a master piece

  • he was very awesome. i love him playing piano.

  • can you hear this rays of light in his music?? he is a great artist!!

  • I can see the sunbeams, Yiruma.

  • @JulietteBurke sunbeam what's that meant

  • @gautructhanhha A ray of sunlight. ;)

  • If your one of those 13 people who clicked the dislike, your did one of three things. You lied because you dont think the music is cool, you lied to yourself because your afraid of turning your back on the social world and accepting you like beautiful music, or you clicked the wrong button. I hope for your sakes it was the latter.

  • Let me know if u want me to marry you, Yiruma!! Super I like u...its like ur my soulmate!! Just kidding....u really touch my soul bec of ur musics...u are really good! CONGRATS!!

  • How did he invent this song?!

Was he just sitting there thinking "Hey, i wonder what happens if i press these random notes really really fast" ?!

    Lovely song though...

  • @lukeba214 Well first he decided he wanted other people's hand to bleed after they played the song.

  • Amazing...

  • amazing, really :)

  • Wow..!

  • holy jesus, this is extrodinary

  • This song is not hard, the notes repeat, there is rhythm, you just have to feel it and most of all, be fast. But it'd be interesting to hear a slow version.

  • Love exists, here's proof.

  • it makes you feel like your flying. like the only thing that can touch you is the sun. it makes everything seem to glow. like your able to see the sun and not get burned. because your just as bright. its like you dont know where your flying to, or whether your going slow or not. and it doesnt matter because everything is filled with light. and then you start to think its raining. but theyre just your tears. spilling out like golden drops of sunlight. and you couldnt be any closer to heaven.

  • @xeNduRaNcex

    LOLWAAAAT.

    But yes, i agree.

  • @lukeba214 haha i know i get kinda into it when i write. but writing is where words form, not my mouth ^.^

  • Olala subliiiime ! Je m'en lasse pas *o*

  • 1.30 - 2.00 drives me crazy

  • The moment the song starts, I feel like Im floating above the clouds

  • grande yiruma

  • Music isn't music if it doesn't touch your heart. Yiruma's songs touch me more than any other shit.

  • I CAN FEEEL IT!!!!

  • Amazing -3
