One mistake they made in the show was that when Lucas finds out that Jimmy was innocent of Kieth's murder, and after Dan confessed he should have gone right to Jimmy's mother and told her first that her son was innocent. Big mistake by the writers. Lucas or Mouth owed that to Jimmy's mom who believed for months that her son was a killer.

Well said. It drove me crazy knowing that Jimmy had no part in Keith's death...but of course, Luke had no idea. I'm just happy that Luke had a good heart and decided to go to his funeral even though he had those feelings about Jimmy.
