  • i seen queens back in the early 80's before their debut album came out. needless to say i bought it when it was released a few months later. and i still rock out to it to this day!

  • WOW

  • They should release this in DVD....

  • @vwmaniacs it is on DVD look it up

  • As a comment to the uploader:

This VHS was recorded beföre the release of the first album...if you want to add it...maybe?

    who knows?

Watching it right now actually. just poped in on this video so i could link it to a friend.

  • Not to mention DeGarmo/Wilton, who seem superior to Downing/Tipton, Tate is just as awesome as Halford, but straight as well. That's a pity, 'coz I'm gay for him.

  • Probably the best solo Wilton ever played.

  • thier debut album is thier best!!!!

  • Incredible. He gave Rob Halford of Judas Priest a run for his money! In fact, I prefer Queensryche. No disrespect to Priest!

  • why is it that on the 2003 EP reissue, most of the crowd noise when they are playing is cut out?

  • @savafan95 Probably because more often than not, the crowd noise is a studio element added to make it *sound* more live. Cheap Trick's "Live at Budokan" and Judas Priest's "Unleashed in the East" are classic examples of this.

  • @savafan95 japanese crowd is weird so nothing is cut. Just listen to the Malmsteen-recording from the same year.

  • I still have the VHS myself.

  • amazing live performance, best band ever! Geoff Tate's my favorite singer, no one even comes close!

  • @Flaggius tobias sammet.

  • @089756434212 Tobias Sammet isn't anything compared to Tate.

  • the singers fruit nugget

  • Perfection!

  • @gasguiltyasin Running Riot!

  • indeed. pity about what happened after the 80's. the bands new stuff is just terrible. have all of their old stuff and love it though.

  • American Soldier isnt that bad...I know I know he isnt the same..but just give it a chance...you will like it

  • DeGarmo has talent.......For sure.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this show! Something record labels dont do, but fans will always.

  • fuck yeah, soooo good, live, one of the best singers and bands of the metal days,

  • I saw them in 85 in Dublin. They were supporting DIO. Incredible Gig. They just walked out on stage. started with NM 156. Geoff just stood there expressionless looking at the crowd and erupted into NM156 "Computer printout reads end of time...etc...lol.. man awesome days. he wore that same white jacket.

  • i saw em on the same tour twice at Birmingham odeon , sure it wasn't 84 though pal the last in line tour

  • One of the greatest metal songs of all time. 'Ryche was simply peerless in its prime.

  • @sweetnothing1977 so very very very true

  • I agree with u tjcobra666, he was better live!!

Its a shame he couldnt stop smoking!!

  • so you think you can sing?....

let me pop on some queensryche and let you listen to geoff.

  • Fantastic stuff! I think Geoff sang most of the EP and Warning songs better live than in the studio!

  • What raw and brilliant power ! Nobody could and can touch Tate in the Rage For Order era.

  • fuckin awesome
