jahchild1904---those icons weren't made icons until after they happened. take the cross for instance. During those times, you wouldn't be wearing a cross necklace......because crosses weren't a good symbol, they meant death. The cross wasn't made a good symbol until after his crucifixion, and by then, they had probably already gotten rid of his cross. And with the other symbols, you know that things decay over time. but that's why God made everything else look around you it all shows his glory

Wrong! Go to Genesis and read it. They were definitely on the ark for a year. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights. The waters covered the earth and it took a year for the waters to go down. Read it all in Genesis.
