  • Thanks for covering this topic

  • no no no, $30 for a upgrade on a mac not for a new os

  • apple is over priced

  • Who cares, there are tons of pirate windows copies , really

  • mac4ever - Why? - cuz it's the best (i'm runnning a HACKINTOSH)

  • Apple can afford to sell their OS for free because you already pay through the nose for the hardware. This is the advantage Apple have over MS. Microsoft rely on the cost of the software because the don't sell the hardware and when you factor in a cheap pc with windows, it works out much the same...

  • shut the fuck up !!!!! if you are a gamer you have windows !!! if you want a compatible os you have windows ..... if you dont know anything about tehnology you have mac :)

  • @Stifler92Cosmin pfff what a fucking tool. I wanna hear what you stupid windows fanboy know about technology. You can press the start button? ROFL

  • @TheJanek566 yes , but is not the same thing as windows 7 or xp ... windows 8 is something new ... you are afraid of change ? wtf

  • @Stifler92Cosmin no one said i use winshit. THB i'd rather use that shitty mac than windows but since microsoft introduced monopoly and dominated the market with unlawful practises i'm now stuck with dual boot where one of the systems is shitty, slow, BSoDing windows. What a life...

  • @TheJanek566 no problem ... im a gamer .. i play a lot of games that dont work on mac ... i use programs that doesnt exist on mac .. so i use windows ( windows is not slow ... your pc is slow .... mac uses more RAM and CPU )

  • @Stifler92Cosmin err no my pc is not slow. Mac does NOT use more RAM or CPU (by the way more than what? dont just say windows which tasks/programs?) I have i5 @ 3.30GHz, 8GB of DDR3 RAM @ 1600MHz, Nvidia geforce 560Ti and my linux boots 2x as fast closes nearly 5x as fast, opens programs twice as fast (google chrome, gimp, games). So yeah windows is currently the least teachnically advanced operating system for masses, and yet it dominates the market. What a shame...

  • I think if every PC game worked on mac or a hackintosh windows will die but it won't happen so Windows will stay as far as the gamer is alove

  • Microsoft's CEO is driving Microsoft into the ground, i will not be surprised if in 35 years (maybe less) Microsoft will have FAR LESS users! If Microsoft doesn't do anything with their CEO they are just done.

  • 6666 views, lol

  • Apple company paid him to says bad things about windows, i remember this idiot interview by CNN with 3 other IT bloggers. this guy pointed out, people should not upgrade their windows OS to windows 7 and he looks stupid because everybody loves windows 7. listen to this idiot is not worth it. And also this idiot also selling Windows 7 Manuals to his followers on his blog website. lol

  • This guy is an idiot.

  • Ubuntu is the way to go

  • Linux Mint forever.

  • 750 000 000 $ just went for charity!

  • One of the reason why Apple OSes are cheap and Apple hardware is expensive is because Apple offloads the cost of their OSes onto their hardware. I do agree Windows is expensive and Microsoft should stop this Windows Home Basic/Home Premium/ultimate..BS but If Apple didn't offload the cost of its OSes I bet they would cost about the same as Windows.

  • @ssssroryssss What do you mean they offliad to hardware, their hardware is inferior? or do you mean the increased cost of expensive packaging, and aliminium chasie. Yes windows are far to expensive and should cost about $30. But, hoping your an engineer imagine making a device designed to work in one enviroment. One (thats the mac the apple certified enviroment, yes there are different models but they program for a very small hardware package compared to microsoft).

  • @XeadXhot Yeah I mean Apple increases the price of its hardware to cover the cost of its software. I'm not saying its a bad thing at all. I do agree, Microsoft needs to rethink its pricing strategy.

  • THIS GUY IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!

  • windows sux

  • Windows 8 should be free as its more of a tablet based os, imagine microsoft making u have licenses for everything you do on your tablet, just make it free, when I use windows it is always having problems one way or another but if they made it free and made it so that people could help solve those problems like Ubuntu, then I would support them; at the moment an imac would last more years than a windows based pc.

  • Mac OS should just be free

  • and to add to my comment below Windows offers a more compatible customizable OS with much better Networking capabilities. you never mentioned any thing along these lines at all

  • Firstly this is a bias video. Secondly people pay upwards $60 on games. Thirdly yes it is a bit pricey but apple is selling something that was free a very Linux based OS for $30 and the hardware is without a doubt inflated compared to PC's also they sport inferior hardware in comparison . You can make a hackintosh $20 with an apple TV, or with certain components that are compatible with the os.

  • why yes it is . No bought about it i thinking on buying a Mac

  • No and no. Piracy is great. They make enough money (movie actors, game designers blabla)

  • Yes

  • It probably is overpriced but Microsoft probably doesn't care because they make more of their money from windows by allowing PC companies like Dell and HP to ship computers with windows installed.

  • Yep, I HATE MICROSOFT'S PRICE, OS X Lion, £20.99. Windows 7 Home premium, £89.95 in pcworld!

  • just have an hackintosh with additional win7, ubuntu and chrome os partitions on it, then you can at least feel as cool as i do

  • @Croccer333 I've got one! YAY ME!

  • @tino730 yess hackintosh pwnage :D

  • Microsoft needs not only to drop the Windows brand, but to get a whole new product with a lower price. Windows isn't worth shelling out $100 (or more often $200)+. It just isn't. It's slower than Linux, full of bloat, not friendly to the user, and extremely vulnerable to security threats. This might be worth $10 if you're lucky. Maybe instead of fighting Linux, Microsoft should make a custom linux distro and sell it for less than Mac OS X. That would attract a crowd.

  • 30$ mac os.. that isn't true. 30$ is the price for a update, just 10.5->10.6

  • @pk2alien That's the build number, just like Windows has one that doesn't change significantly. And upgrade brings new features an update solves problems.

  • @Kyhd1234 ok, but you need the 10.5 to instal this 30$ non-upgrade, It isn't a whole OS

  • @pk2alien No you don't. I bought a new hard drive last week. Do you really think I needed to install Leopard first, then Snow Leopard and then Lion? No. Just Lion;)

  • @Kyhd1234 wow, I rlly didn't know, thanks!

  • @pk2alien Yes, but that's the only way you CAN buy the OS by itself. The other option is to buy a computer. The only time you buy Mac OS X is when you upgrade versions.

  • I believe it is overpriced because the longterm stability and active support is not promised. I believe that is the reason fir paying the ful price. true there is windows update, but it still is sometimes a hit and mis, but performance does slow down over time.

  • Well said. This is about an OS and what you are going to use your computer for. For the most part an occasional user will surf the web, send emails, watch movies, listen to music, and upload photos. If that's you... go free, go Linux. If you need to used MS software and tend to be a more power user then Windows or OSX is for you, then it all depends on what is your fav from there. But over priced OS?? Yes indeed.

  • Seeing as how I plan to build a gaming desktop in the next few months, I'm not looking forward to paying $100 for a copy of Windows. I'm hoping Windows 8 will be out by then or may just use other means because I'm not going to simply hand over $200 within a few months.

  • microsoft software is overpriced but apple hardware is overpriced.

  • Is windows over priced? Yes. Is Apple Hardware over priced. By far more yes then windows price. Both OS has and up and down price-wise. While you have a good point. you should look at what you are getting with the computer then just staring at the price of the OS.

  • yes of course i believe its overpriced

  • Of course Microsoft is overpriced but the problem is that it has become the go to Operating System for any computer that isn't a Macintosh. Most programs today only worth with Windows or Mac. Microsoft actually gave Apple money when they were first starting to keep them afloat so that Microsoft would not get hit with Anti-Trust issues. I don't see Microsoft changing their pricing anytime soon because PCs pre-installed with Windows are still significantly cheaper than a Macintosh.

  • I paid $30 for Mac OS X Lion. Compare that to Windows 7 home premium at $130. Who is overpriced now?

  • Comparing Windows with the Mac OS is wrong because Microsoft is a software company making money on long term stable software use by clients who need reliability and legacy support. Apple is a hardware company whose income comes from the continual churn of users getting new (overpriced) hardware, and offers no legacy support. Sticking with an Apple product and OS is going to be more costly over the mid to long range in every case because of built in obsolescence. I got 9 yrs use from XP. 10$yr.

  • @Sylverlokk1 really??apple computers last 7-10 years and they give regular software updates and a major new os release costs only 10% of what windows does..even after releasing lion apple is still giving updates to snow leopard users!!and mac is still more stable and hassle free than windows!!

  • My short answer is "Yes, its too expensive". A bit more ok so you pay more for Apple's Hardware but their OS is definitely much more affordable and I would say a LOT less pirated.

  • but then just listen to me here. if u buy a windows computer for idk say 500$, a 100$ windows os comes with it. but if u buy a mac for 1,000$ and it comes with 30$ os. what are you really paying for in a mac? so i have to say i would prefer windows over apple os.

  • @bl4ck0ut5k4ter what about the people who are buying expensive pcs like hp envy??they cost as much as a mac and the os costs an extra $299 (when they release one)

  • @supbrotv but the hardware is way way way way more powerful

  • @Louisi9 Also there is room for upgrades but with macs they only REALY allow you to upgrade the ram.

  • @Louisi9 are u talking abt the HP envy series and viao series 9??then u must be very delusional..coz they have the same specs as the macbook pro and runs only one os wehn the macbooks can run 2-3 oses at the same time!

  • @bl4ck0ut5k4ter just as windows is overpriced, apple hardware is overpriced.

  • @WeRoCkGaMeS exactly :) but i would prefer windows over apple os.

  • @bl4ck0ut5k4ter even i would bro.

  • I do agree, it's overpriced, but I play games and so anything else is not going to give me what I want. The time to buy windows is at launch on pre order get it quickly before it triples in price. I will not need a new OS for a fair time Windows 7 does what I need it to do. I feel windows 8 is tablets and touch and will be a large flop on anything other than them.

  • I think Microsoft may use the method of thinking:

You can do a ton of things with Windows, and you can even make a ton of money off Windows, be it for a business, video game company, etc.

This is the same method that Adobe uses for Photoshop and AfterEffects.

  • windows should be $50 max for the home premium build

  • It's not overpriced. It's over complicated licensing within the SMB/Enterprise market.

  • If you think it's overpriced I'd like to see you guys d better

  • It depends.in some cases, yes. But if you think about what you get with windows, its quite a bit

  • As much as I love Windows... yes, I do.

  • clicked on video for comments

laughed my ass off at dumbass apple fanboys

thanks chris, my day was getting borring

  • @manhunt48 I know you are not blaming them directly. Infact you can't even blame the Imac. It was your own incompetence toward securing your Imac that led you to that scenario. However my last Windows machine, never saw the internet and malfunctioned. No excuse but a poor operating system. As i said in my first post. Stability is everything and Windows doesn't have that.

  • @MrMusicalee *facepalm* ". Infact you can't even blame the Imac" WHEN HAVE I?!?!?. . Again if you're going to go after me at least go after what I ACTUALLY said.

" It was your own incompetence toward securing your Imac that led you to that scenario." which is my entire point. You cannot actually be this stupid. If you don't take care of a machine windows or mac, it will not last.

"Stability is everything and Windows doesn't have that." Oh just fuck off . . . now is just pure fanboy bullshit.

  • @manhunt48 Please enlighten me? I installed nothing more than a retail, purchased version of Reason 5 (a glitch free, rock solid DAW) on my Windows machine. I NEVER connected it to the internet. No viruses or malicious programs can get installed without an internet connection yet it malfunction (Windows that is not the hardware)... so how does one get Windows more "stable" than that? i'm not a fanboy at all. just stating my own experiences!

  • @MrMusicalee And i've stated mine and just don't give a fuck. . . with your constant taking out of context and trying twist what i've said. You're only interested in your own opinion despite what anyone else has to say and maing radical claim with fuck all supporting it, you're fucking fanboi. . . deal with it. . .I'm out.

  • @manhunt48 You're correct. I don't have proof, but i don't need it because i'm not trying to "prove" anything... you also don't have proof that you've owned an Imac. what are you trying to prove?

  • @manhunt48 One last thing... You replied to me first, saying that my comparison is f**** stupid.so it was you actually going after me :) but it's actually quite fitting regarding my own experiences with both OSs. The truth is, if you get two computers with equal specifications, one running OS X and the other running Windows, never connect any of them to the internet, I could bet money that the OS X machine would outlast the Windows machine. Craftsmanship of the Mac's hardware is unrivalled.

  • @manhunt48 now now... no need for verbal abuse... i'm quite enjoying this discussion... i just want to know what's so bad about a mac that makes you want to defend windows?

  • @MrMusicalee " i just want to know what's so bad about a mac that makes you want to defend windows?" Which just prove my point perfectly. . .you haven't even been reading what I've been saying. . . I'm not defending windows. . . I'm simply saying they're as bad as each other. . . But you ignore that, because as you've shown you're nothing but a fanboy. . . Good day.

  • @manhunt48 So why not just say they are as bad as each other lol

  • @manhunt48 When i say stability. i don't mean viruses etc. i mean the actual foundation of the OS.When you turn on a PC running windows, it's slow to run at optimal performance, and occasionally the screen blacks out for split seconds. and shutdowns take a relatively long time compared to OS X where it runs almost optimally from boot and you never get any kind of flickering screen and it shuts down almost instantaneously. Unfortunately OS X is the more stable of the 2.

  • @MrMusicalee Windows is as stable as YOU make it. . .

  • Yes, its overpriced

  • Linux is underpriced. That's what Apple said. :P

  • Oh the irony. The two laptops that was brought to me today... one was an Acer and the other, Levovo. don't get me wrong. Lenovo are pretty good machines but still it's ironic.

  • low, low price for 3pc.

  • Oem licence

    Student license

    Retail license

    Upgrade license

    Version to Version license

Seriously MS, one license and lower the price. 7year cycle for all editions.

  • microsoft office is also way overpriced

  • In direct response to your question, Chris: YES, Windows has always been overpriced. If the new OS X version is really only $30, I will be switching ASAP :D

  • @manhunt48 I know my way around Windows and custom built PCs. and take care of all of my belongings, yet the inevitable happened. yet my very first imac g4 is still running flawlessly. your foul mouth sounds like my comparison is getting to you ?

  • @MrMusicalee OH NOES. . . someone said a naughty word on the internet it's the end of the world!. . . Grow up mate.

and I've still got a pentium 4 running flawlessly. . . My old Imac gave up after a year. Again it all comes down to how well it's looked after.

How is this not getting through to you?. . .

  • @manhunt48 so what you're saying is... you treat your Windows machine well because it lasted and you treated your Imac like dirt, correct?

  • @MrMusicalee

I treated my Imac how apple users said I neede to be treated. . . " oh it doesn't need anti virus", " ohhh it doesn't freeze or crash", " ohhh I've done 0 maintainance to my mac and it runs fine after years" . . . Do you recognise any of these arguments?

The point still remains, the better you look after a device the longer it will last, it doesn't matter whether it's a windows machine or a mac.

  • @manhunt48 "I treated my Imac how apple users said I neede to be treated. . . " oh it doesn't need anti virus", " ohhh it doesn't freeze or crash", " ohhh I've done 0 maintainance to my mac and it runs fine after years" . . . Do you recognise any of these arguments?" If you saw these as arguments... you know... debatable (as in opinions) Then why did you not take caution in installing Anti virus software. Only your self to blame for your Imac breaking!

  • @MrMusicalee I never said it was anyone elses fault. . . Why can't you go after what I actually say?. . .

  • @manhunt48 Lol! You "said" you treated your Imac how "Apple users said it needs to be treated"... then you said "remember these arguments"... so you are blaming your faulty Imac on apple users "opinions" just because you followed their advice... i think i'm following what you're saying better than you are ;)

  • @MrMusicalee Well clearly you're not following. . . yes I took their advice, I didn't have to, but I did and I made the wrong choice to. That was the last time I listen to apple fans without a secondary source.

Sorry, how hard is this to understand?. . . you cannot seriously be mis understanding this much.

But anyway, back to the original point.

Whether it's a MAC or windows, if you look after it then it will last for years.

  • @manhunt48 If i said windows doesn't need any security. would you take my Advice simply because i use Windows? I think not.

  • Every opinion as their own. But honestly an Anti-Virus is a safe practice on all platforms, no matter what the case may be.

  • The Mac equivalent would be driving through the bahamas in a brand new (built like a tank) volvo... You won't break down and the view is second to none!

  • It's so funny that Windows users constantly bring up the "i can build my own computer with higher specs than your over priced Mac". Macs are more than powerful enough for home and professional use. For me... It all comes down to stability and user interface/experience, which is PRICELESS. The equivalent of a cheap, overpowered PC is like driving through skegness on a rainy day in an old soft top ferrari that's on it's last legs... You're going to get wet and the scenery sucks lol...

  • @MrMusicalee Well sure it is. . . If you're a complete fucking idiot who hasn't a clue how to look after a computer.

  • @manhunt48 they all break eventually, it is inevitable.

  • @MrMusicalee They sure do. . . Including macs. . . hell a mac will break fast enough if you don't know how to look after it. Same goes for PC. . .so your comparison is fucking stupid.

  • @manhunt48

Mhmm I understand your point but the the problem that you were experiencing is most probably hardware related.

Fortunately Apple doesn't sell dodgey hardware but you need to pay a tremendous price for that and there are other good alternatives to Apple to such as Acer and Lenovo. Both companies suposedly make great laptops and have good warranty.

  • @manhunt48

    Thats such a good point!

A good number of people are unfortunately computer illiterate. They install a bunch of toolbars, have a bunch of start up programs, open malicious programs without knowing trusting that their AV will sort everything out, install a bunch of software that reeks chaos on their system etc...

In the long run we all know what happens; software starts to crash and the computer starts to slow down and they ultimitely blame it on Microsoft haha

  • @xRaIDeNx69 My last Windows PC was solely for music production...The only application i personally installed was a purchased version of propellerhead's Reason 5. I never connected it to the internet, hence no viruses or malicious software got installed and it still ended in malfunction. Sorry to say but in this specific case, my judgement of Microsoft is infallible.

  • It would've been funny if you made a one second video, and said, "yes"

  • @benmcm9 alright i c ur point

  • @joejoebonely LOL umm i meant actual hardware upgrading not HDD and ram more Like CPU and GPU,motherboard etc

  • Last i paid for was Vista, decided to stay on it rather than pirating Windows 7.

Windows is about the only thing i wouldn't pirate because of MS Security Essentials and the updates.

  • So what your all saying is that your all going to buy the cheapest version of windows

  • pirate win 7 simple lol

  • @xray174 but you can't update that right or use MS Security Essentials.

  • The reason MS price is stable is that it owns 90% of the market. All it can do is gain 10% and follow middle class growth around the world.

The MS advantage is compatability. 90% of all software is written for Windows, not Apple.

The way MS is going down is when a) OS based computing ends or b) if someone invents software than can run MS software equally well on Apple. Which can only happen when Windows becomes Open Source. :)

  • macs are cheaper... hahahahahahahahaha. those annoying mac haters only ever had one valid reason and now IT'S GONE! and don't give me that pathetic 'i don't need to upgrade because windows xp is awesome' because windows xp is shit and with a mac you can keep up to date for much lower price.

  • @SimHarrison fnaboy much?

  • @manhunt48 no. I love macs but i'm open to PCs, but i'd use linux as my main operating system, not windows.

  • To use the OS X lion you need to have a Mac product, and that usually costs you more than $900 at least, whereas Microsoft products can run on a whole series of devices. Of course if you isolate the cost of just the operating system (minus - the hardware) OS X lion is cheaper, but you would have to at least own a Mac product which would have also cost in excess of $900 approx. So the comparison in itself is a bit foolish. An accountant would have to take into account hardware + software costs

  • Inexpensive or even free versions of Linux have been available for over a decade now. Competitive? Hardly. I downloaded the free version of Mandrake Linux a decade ago, too complicated and not worth it. If the free versions of OS are like Linux Microsoft has nothing to worry about.

  • Yes it is, but with no (corporate) competition, it is expected to be. Mac OS X doesn't count because it is legally binded to Apple's hardware and hackintosh requires too much technical jogging.

  • @Meganium0647 your redundant stupidity made me laugh

  • When I went from buying one disk for all my computers to needing to buy an OS for each one I stoped buying micro$oft. I have 4 desktops and a laptop in my house, there is no way in hell I am shelling out that much $ to upgrade every one of them, but I got to say I wish I could windows 7 is really nice.

  • @Mikej1592 Windows 8 will be even nicer, wait for that one. Don't bother with Win 7 right now, I really like the new Metro interface and I wish Win 7 had it.

  • How much Windows 8 going to cost??

  • @BlurryBeaver A good pc? Are you including a wireless keyboard, mouse and high definition screen? A lot of people trying to compare tend to leave those facts out.

  • @raystinks1 No you don't need to upgrade old software. The only issues there were, we're that Apple dropped Rosetta which was a architecture used back in the PowerPc days, so super old software wouldn't run anymore. But Apple software wasn't affected any.

  • good pc: $800

good mac : $2000 and up

mac os upgrade over 4 years $60

windows upgrade over 4 years $250

    pc total $1050

    mac total $2060

    now which is cheaper?

  • @BlurryBeaver Good Mac: 599 USD and up.

Mac OS Upgrade for over 4 years 60 USD. Now which is cheaper?

  • @vajksziget7a the mac mini sucks ass thats not a good mac

  • @BlurryBeaver I knew you gonna say that. Let me tell you something: My Mac Mini can run Crysis 2 on maxed out. And no you can't build a computer like the Mac Mini for 100 USD with dual core 2.3Ghz i5. with 500 gigs of HDD. It's totally worth 599.

  • @vajksziget7a i could build a pc with the same specs as the mac mini for $100

  • @BlurryBeaver It would be an interesting comparison study to see the costs of building a PC with the same specs as a mac mini and which one is cheaper. I would guess that a PC version would be cheaper. Plus, you are able to upgrade it easier. Macs are not necessarily built with the vision of it being upgraded. Apple would prefer you to buy a whole new machine, thus enabling them to earn more profit.

  • it may be overpriced but when the majority of people 'upgrade', they will upgrade their whole computer, not just their operating system.

  • Comment removed

  • Windows is defiantly over priced it's a real pain because I build my own computers to get a new license every new build. My current machine might be on the way out so the transition period from one old PC to said new one is a real hassle if this machine breaks before Windows 8 comes out I don't want to buy another license of Windows 7 and I don't think I can use the same license on a second machine. looks like I might have to use Linux for a bit.

  • Windows is definitely expensive compared to the other major OS's, but im willing to pay that extra bit to have the ability to run any GPU that I want, faster OpenGL, CUDA without having to buy a Quadro, and I got a standard 3 year warranty, vs having to pay Apple (or any other OEM) another $250 to increase the length of the warranty.

  • Mac's 15 percent share of the market is miniscule. 25 percent increase brings it to a whopping 19 percent. meanwhile PC lost 6 percent, leaving the market share at 76 percent. What does MS and PC's really have to worry about:? nothing... Mac is still small bananas

  • in the apple vs microsoft price count i think they knock each other out. Microsoft over prices the software but apple over prices the hardware, but when you look at it with lion its only 30 bucks and you can use it on like 2 computers and windows is 100 bucks but for only 1 computer but in most cases i don't see it losing to apple. as for linux, it is losing ground because of the android market introducing linux to the general public and linux OS's being more productive, they should worry.

  • Do you think that Apple is increasingly becoming overpriced?

  • To be honest, the same accusation could be said for nearly all of Apples products whereby a large amount of the cost is attributed to the brand value. I would argue that Microsoft is still the most cost effective product in comparison to Mac's software solutions which are the most closed systems to date. Just look at the US and European education systems, and how many are using Mac or Microsoft products. You will be surprised.

  • i rather build a hackintosh for 1:4th the price and still it would have better specs than a mac pro stock

  • @lockergnome 20% "MORE" relative to Apple, yes it is a big jump...

  • What would you prefer to pay, Microsoft Windows for $200 or $29 for OS X lion?

  • @TheMasterChris30 I guess that doesn't include the $2999 mac huh

  • @TheMasterChris30 Windows by far.

  • @TheMasterChris30 but you need need to upgrade all your old software (eg imovie, garageband, ect) because osx lion doesn't have backwards compatibility (i may be wrong). Also i would rather pay £200 + £100 for a windows than £1000 + £30 for a mac book pro

  • @raystinks1 LOL no you don't. When you upgrade to Lion, all of your stock Apple apps get upgraded. All of the apps you had before still work, except for Classic Mac OS apps (Mac OS 9 and before).

  • @TheMasterChris30 what would you prefer to pay,

Dell $500 for a powerful laptop (With WIndows)

Apple $1500 for a powerful laptop.

    Think

  • @D3Ad1yHAck3r I go with the Apple. It's far better.

  • @TheMasterChris30 Or Linux for free

  • @TheMasterChris30 What would you pay ? 500 for a windows computer or 1000 for a mac

  • @zeeshan595 which would you pay: 150 bucks for a windows upgrade or 29 bucks for a mac upgrade?

Stop being biassed and start looking at something for the long run not front cost

  • @y35n00b5 i am not saying your wrong but if you think about it mac actually charge more then they should. but in a long term they are cheaper like you said.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMasterChris30 you mean 30 dollars for a service pack?

  • @TheMasterChris30 that $30 is for the full version? not just the upgrade? AWESOME!! XD

  • I was able to get a full version of Windows 7 64 Bit, without a discount, for a little more than $100. Not that bad for something I'll use everyday for years. Defiantly better than most video games that are $60 and only last a few hours.

  • I got it free on warez-bb

  • Yes, yes it is!

  • Chris said that more people wanted to buy Macs than Windows based PC's in Q4, this is not even close to true
