transcribed for those among us who've yet to warm up to the (glorious) swedish accents (deliberately) wrought ugly by anonymizing pitch adjustments and for those of us who have never been exposed to such Scandinavian accents
Olof: Yeah, I think we think about that in every track. What were you gonna say?
Karin: (No, you go)
Olof: I think if a song is too male or female there needs to be a contrast. not a contrast, but more genderless or unisex, which we always think about; with videos, tracks, everything they do.
Karin: It's easy in Sweden to go into nature, even in Stockholm, the biggest city. Thirty minutes away you can be alone with nature. I think if you're not brought up outdoors, it's difficult. It's a very important question. In Sweden we have problems with scared women, women have to think about how they dress, can they go home alone, it's a big problem. I think both of us are interested in politics, feminism especially
Karin: I'm traveling the world a lot. You see a lot of cultures, and I think the last album is about the forest, psychological/inner ideas about the forest. I mean, we don't go out and walk a lot (Olof, and I) but something we may find could be scary. Sweden is mostly trees.
Olof: One important part of our music is to distance other expressions. We sometimes exoticize the music with afro-american rhythms, And I find that quite exciting to put that into a centrical context. I think it's more about kitsch than going to a place and being inspired by it. It's more artificial.
Karin: I think it's good that you at least try to distinguish between yourself and the music. It's something completely different. It's too complicated. We have only appeared in one music video which we regret because it didn't turn out so good. So we try to appear with our own bodies as little as possible. but at the same time we're in the pop world, it's much easier to sell an album with pictures of yourself.
Karin: I think it's important to draw attention away from the person so the music can stand for itself without clinging to things like lifestyle, clothes, fashion, one's private life, how one should live in this pop cultural world.
Olof: It's getting really hard but if you try it… Oh, I forgot the question. I'm just thickening about the question.
karin: nothing is good when it's perfect. when we make a beautiful track we have to put something dirty in it to create dynamics.
Olof: When we create music in the pop format, we make songs with straight vocals and straight arrangement and we also make music videos, and we act in a pop area of music culture. And then it's important for me to question that area. 99 percent of that area is shit and it's very commercial and I don't find it interesting.
Olof: the reason why we use this look is that it's one way of interpreting both the dark and humorous parts of our music. that contrast is really important. it's some brightness or some humor.
Karin: We came to use all visual parts of the knife to look like/follow the music, to continue where it ends. This is how we think the music looks like. We always go into characters when we make music, so all our songs are told by different characters

She could also be talking about You Take My Breath Away. They're much more prominent in that than PTO, and it came first as well.

THEY SPEAK IN ENGLISH, DON'T THEY ???
They're polite enough not to speak in Swedish. So improve you English skills instead of begging for something that is already there.
