  • I'm pretty sure there's a .223 version of this revolver, do you know of any video demonstrations for it?

  • I had an Arminius .44mag almost just like the one you have but mine was a little longer barrel your's looks like 6' and mine was 8.5,not a bad shooting gun at all,I used to shoot the CEC lawman rounds at 243gr.and it was quite the hand cannon.

  • @EBBadd1 I found it in a pawn shop, and it needed some work to get it going. I got a great deal on it. This one has a 7-1/2" barrel. It is well made and tight. I think that it is patterned after the old model Ruger Vaquero.

  • That's awesome!! I inherited the same gun and am still working on getting use to it. How many yards can you hit with that thing without bench resting?

  • @jerseykidd77 I have not had it to the range much, and I have not grouped it either. It is surprising how well it did on the metal targets at 25 yards. I picked the RB up a couple of years ago thinking that I would get to use when I retire. Only problem is, I haven't retired yet.

  • Good shoot'n sir.

  • Brazilian tecnology FTW.

  • i dont have one :(

  • Is the Taurus double action?

  • @Calaxus Yes. The Raging Bull is a double action.

  • Nice shooting!

  • u da man....awesome shooting...

  • Extremely good shooting, with such a large caliber.

  • Dead Eye!

  • Nice shooting

  • How's the Taurus working out for you?

  • Great shooting, great video. The exact camera angle I like to see in shooting videos!

  • @Predwolf2 The intent was to show the revolver and how it performed, and keep me out of the picture as much as possible. There are too many videos of people standing there banging away and not any indication that they actually hit what they are shooting at.

  • o_O Sniper...

  • bloody good shot

  • dang good shooting on such a powerhouse

  • Good shootin' man

  • That's a good shot, I have had problems with any type of distance shooting with my Ruger44 Redhawk. Any tips? I just bought the 454 from my uncle but I have not picked it up yet.

  • damn good shooting!!! i love that revolver and trying to get my hands on one

  • I was impressed with the comfort and accuracy of the Raging Bull compared to the Desert Eagle and S&W .500. Sure the .50s are powerful but they lack something that the Raging Bull has.

  • @blueflare0 you've tried the smith and wesson 500, how does it compare to this taurus?

  • @dsportnissan I really didn't get much of a comparison, since I only got to shoot the 500 S&W once. I did not know the owner of the 500, and he only let me waste one round. I like them both. They were amazingly comfortable to shoot. I wish my RB had a longer barrel, without the muzzle brake. I would choose the 460 S&W over the 500 due to cartridge compatibily with 45C and 454.

  • @LowKeyLanding lol I really need to see them both up close, the raging bull has alot of different varieties and seems barrel lengths also. I found the RB had a 500 version but would fail so they stopped making it

  • I think this just sold me on a .454 Raging Bull. I was wondering if a person could keep two hands unlike the .500 S&W magnum I'm wanting one with a 6 inch barrel. My friend has a Tracker in .44 mag and loves it. I can't blame him but seeing this makes me want the .454 Looks like one heck of a linear shot on target there.

  • Is the hammer really that hard to pull on the Raging bull?

  • Not at all! Maybe you see the Band-Aid on my thumb, which was not there due to the Raging Bull.

  • Thanks, although I did not notice the Band-Aid there.

  • @LowKeyLanding Is that the 6 or 8 3/8 barrel

  • I believe it's a 6-1/2" barrel. I would prefer a longer barrel, and without porting. I got a good deal on a used one, which is how I ended up with this one. But I do think that it is better balanced with this barrel length.

  • i own a taurus 454 casull raging bull in stainless8 3/8barrel i shoot winchester supreme 260 nosler partitions out of mine took a deer at 100 yards dropped like a rock very accurate love it

  • Just got a .44 magnum taurus (not a raging bull though) and I have to say, not only is it a fun shoot (if you can find any .44mag ammo), it is AMAZINGLY accurate, much more than i thought it was going to be.

  • I was very impressed with the accuracy of the Raging Bull from the start also. I would like to have a Tracker in 44 mag. 44 mag is my favorite pistol round. You can still have a small enough gun to handle like a pistol, but also have incredible power in one hand. One thing that is not appealing to me about some of the Taurus guns is the porting.

  • To the comment "No professional would use the term "gun" it's either a weapon or firearm", I apoligize for removing the comment. That was an accident. Please accept my apology and here is a more profesional wording 'Glad to hear it! Accuracy is top notch with this firearm. Is your's scoped?'

  • Still on the stock sights, not sure If I will scope it or not.

Took it out yesterday with some ammo I loaded myself, oddly enough I was more accurate free hand that I was on a shooting bench.

  • i love my raging bull

  • you my friend have a beast, make that 2

  • puta merda cara esse ai so nao é melhor do que eu porque eu faço isso de olho fechado kkkkkkk!!!!

  • wow! nice video!

  • Nice shootin Tex!

  • heil hitler

  • you killed them all.

  • Goddamn you truly are a sharp shooter. Now you're making me want to buy the taurus

  • The Raging Bull was a deal at a gunshow too good to pass up. It has turned out to be an excellent gun. Before I bought it the biggest handgun I owned is my Super Blackhawk. I'd like to have a RB in 44 mag and long barrel.

I never did intend to become a proponent of Taurus, but I saw a blue Taurus 1911 at a gunwhow last weekend for $519 that I want pretty bad.

  • I don't think I'd like Taurus's much. My buddy has a Taurus 1911, and it jams a LOT. Like, every 3rd round. And he's tinkered, and tinkered, and tinkered, and hasn't figured out why it jams a lot. FTE's, FTF's, everything. Personal opinion, that's all.

  • Right now I can't say much about it, as I've only had my Taurus 1911 to the range one time. But it fed and ejected both Blazer Brass and reloads with cast lead just fine. I will make a video of it at some point. I would like to know the specifics about the gun you mention. It is supposed to come from the factory with the works including a polished ramp. I would clean it, lube it, and break it in.

  • I don't know the specifics about it, it's not mine, lol. But he's tried Remington and Winchester brass. He's tried some handloads, and they all seem to have problems. My buddy probably just got a bad one. I can feed the same ammo through my Springfield, with no problems. So I dunno. Your's will probably be fine. Just a little friendly criticism, that's all.

  • That's good shootin', my man. Does the Raging Bull soak up the Casull's kick fairly well or is it still a beast? Thought about buying one, but I think Taurus no longer sells them.

  • The Raging Bull is a fine gun -- I got a good deal on a used one. Finish is beautiful & fit is excellent. Accuracy has been great on steel plates -- only been to range 3 times with it so far. Weight, grips, porting, and powder type seem to tame recoil very, very well. The 454 Casull is an outstanding round, but for me is too expensive to shoot without reloading. In the video the loads are 33.5 gr of 5744 powder (34.0 gr is max), Hdy 250 gr XTP bullets, and nickel plated brass.
