  • what's the song's name at 2:03

  • sucks michalus!!! look at the mirror u are ugly too!!

  • why r they pressing so litlle weight?

  • @vitoto1291 Little weight? Explain?

  • @InferiorThanYou not much the weight i thought they could lift

  • @InferiorThanYou Cuz of the rubber bands :D

  • @00KasperD That adds more resistance.

  • @vitoto1291 did you not see the resistance bands they had on the bar?

  • @steriods4champions how much force do this bands put on him?

  • @vitoto1291 looks like alot. they were tight. maybe 50-75 pounds

  • @steriods4champions thanks for take me out from my ignorance

  • i like the dude in the red-shirts physique because its practical.

  • brians got good shoulders but out of proportion with arms, everyone lookin good in this vid tho. Jay is one of my fav bodybuilders

  • lol at 5:46 i would be embarresed if someone thought that i started with that

  • @kingsprott when you dont have no more energy that shit feels like more than what it looks like...learn more before u talk

  • @kingsprott Dumbass! There is a rubber fuckin band on the bar weighing down alot more than you think!

  • yeah brians got the ugliest arms ive ever seen

  • Can somebody tell me around 2:31 why doesn't he touch his chest with the weight?

  • @Reaps1291

Some people do that for a constant stretch on the muscle tissue, and as you know stretching of the tissue causes grwoth in the muscle as well. so by having constant strain on it it can stretch more. so they throw that technique in there for variants to switch it up. hope i was able to help you out

    -J

  • for those wondering, the bands provide variable resistance. towards the top of the movement, the amout of resistance is increased due to the bands being stretched farther. this provides a harder contraction of the muscles being worked. its the same concept as deadlifting or benching with chains, but the source of the additional resistance is different. powerlifters incorporate this type of training because it helps them get stronger on the 'lock out' portion of the lift.

  • JAY IS LOOKING BETTER EVERY YEAR..

  • being big and bloated also has its disadvantages jay, i bet u cant even touch ur elbows wen u put dem together because ur chest is too big!

  • @AndrewXDXD

    and this is useful for??

  • after working out for hours your muscles get tired you know so after a while you lower the weight so you dont damage anything

  • That little Brian lacks of PECS...

  • 5:15 dude wtf O.o

    I can lift that easily

why jay's having problems with that?

  • @DrunKid becuase he has elastics attatched to the bar which adds resistance.

  • @GuitaristJesse2442 oh yeah

    i didn't see them

    makes sense now

but why not just add weight like the rest of us?

  • @DrunKid it probably creates a different kind of resistance on the negative.

    but im not really sure.

  • @DrunKid The bands makes it so the resistans changes throughout the motion. It get heavier at the top.

Mostly this is used by powerlifters to help with the lockout of the elbows. And it also kind of simulates what a bench shirt does. (Make it easier from the chest)

  • the guy in red shirt is competing with Jay, well its very obvious that he cant..

  • You know what's really stupid? When someone juices and has a cocky attitude. Hey buddy, you juice. You cheated to get big while plenty of natural guys put you to shame. I'm talking to that guy in the red. He's got tiny legs and a big upper body. He's also a cocky little bitch.

At least Jay is humble and doesn't come off as a major douche. Jay is one of the few roid monkeys in the world who isn't overly pathetic.

  • you are absolutely right. it is fun how some of the big blockes boast and talk shit, while the biggest and the best, Jar Cutler is so down to earth and have kept it honest all the way.

  • @cjxxx010

How did you conclude the guy in red is a douche?did he insult you?did he say something cocky? Maybe you are just jealous that he's busy working out and doesn't give a fuck about skinny haters like you bitching on the internet

  • I like the atmosphere created here.

However i dont like that they tape the other guys workin out i mean we watch this vids to see Cutler not them right.

  • noo its so much fun. I watch you all the time and lick my danish mouth while I eat a dane and pad my great dane dog. oh yeah

  • dude they are his friends, and I don't think Jay cares much about your opinion when you act like a little child.

  • the red shirt shoul train his legs more

  • whats the smaller bloke incline pressin in kilos please

  • hmmmm.........id say about...... more than you:)

  • very very interesting video..red guy using 110-120 pounds dumbells for incline press but he could handle only 115 pounds bar press for lower chest..decline press is easiest press for the chest..on other hand black shirt guy is the weakest but he can handle 115 pound decline..

  • yeah, a lot of BBers these days only focus on upper chest really and kinda forget about their lower, which makes them kinda even out in strength... or the upper to be stronger

  • @spooky78 they are using bands which already adds alot of resistance

  • is there something wrong with his left arm, when he was doing flys the left arm was like not as extended as the right

  • he has a micro tear is his right pectoral ligament / connective tissue so he cant flex / extend it as far as his left.

  • I like jay's training style, he uses a better range of motion than most bodybuilders use.

  • The bands that tie the bar down are commonly used by powerlifters. They make it harder to lockout towards the top because as you extend your arms you stretch the bands adding more resistance. Its a great method to confuse your muscles, something different.

  • dude in the red looks like king lenoidas...for glory!!!!!

  • it's like a slow increase of resistance as you go up. It sort of forces you to squeeze more at the point of contraction of the pecs.

  • First time I have seen this, interesting.

  • it progressively adds resistance to the bar. think about wrapping a rubber band around your thumb and index finger....as you open it, it gets taut and harder to press cause of the resistance. exact same principle.

  • Mr. O right there

  • wow, cutler looks alpha in the front latspread

  • The legend!!

  • I made a video of steroidsR4losers

    It has pics of him!

Just in case you wanted to know what a real pussy looks like.

  • They are playing shity music in this gym

  • who know the name of the song 0:45

  • Green Day - I walk alone

  • it's Green Day, but the song is called 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams', not 'I walk alone'

  • Daaaaaamn, jay cutler looks real big doing that inclened press...what the heck, he's like a god beyond other bodybuilders

  • love jay cutler butt kai green will take the Mr O this year...

  • yeah I reckon you might be close to the money. Mr O is a strange comp though and this is one the most even in years since the 1998 Mr O. Heath, Cutler, Dex, Kai, Victor with more time to improve since the injury not to mention some of the new guns and the regulars- gonna be a good one!!

  • hahah no way

    it's phil's' year bro.

kai can take the buss straight home as he does usually everyday

if there won't be any politcs and crap the olympia between cutler and phil.

  • @maninthewild1 I think Kai is dude in 2011, maybe Jay can hang on until 2012. Kai is definitely up and coming, though, and I love his attitude.

  • i need to try that drop set routien

  • im a huge jay cutler fan but i think kia green might beat him this year

  • took me ages to realize why jay an the other big guy were struggling on that light weight on flat bench then i realized the stretchy bands??whats the bennifet of those then?#

  • It's like the same principle as using chains. When you're at the top of your range of motion you're a little stronger than when you're lower to your chest. So at the top the bands cause more resistance to maximize the workout.

  • Well u know the upper most part of the lift is the easiest, and therefore u usually fatigue in the weird lower part of the movement- the sticking point. Well the higher up u push the harder it gets-as u increase band tension, so you make the stronger part of the lift work harder- in theory allowing greater stimulation. You can also use chains- where the higher you push the more of the chain that is off the ground= more weight. Try chains - have to be long heavy ones :)

  • hmm ok so it makes the easier, top part harder....so it makes the stimulation pretty much even throughout the whole repetition?

  • yeah i guess the stimulation is even throughout the movement as in the strongest part of the movement corresponds to the most resistance and weakest part of range to the least resistance

  • i feel pullovers more on my back than in my chest

  • just gotta say from one body builder enthusiast..thanks for all the uploads, much appreciated

  • As if they don't bring the bar to their chest on incline bench?!

  • Should I start my chest workout with Incline bench presses or flat bench presses? Jay Cutler, Flex Wheeler, Markus Ruhl, Gustavo Badell, and Fouad Abiad start with Inclines. Ronnie Coleman, Schwarzenegger, Dexter Jackson start with flat.

  • you should start with a flat bench first to get the chest pumping, they go on incline for upper chest

  • I think it's personal preference, it shouldn't matter too much. Personally I feel that if I need to hit my upper chest first I start with incline then move to the flat bench. I usually start with flat bench for about 3 weeks and on the 4th week I start with an incline, then just repeat.

  • start with incline so that you can force your upper chest fibers to maximum potential

  • the upper chest is what makes the pecs look huge, you can do all the flat presses you want....if you dont train train that upper chest right youl never ahieve a champion chest

  • dosent matter what you pros are doing mate matters what part of the body yourself you need to bring up they workout the way fore there body you should workout fore your body

  • Ronnie Coleman also never goes to full extension. If u see Coleman doing bench presses, he uses the X-Rep principle a lot. Schwarzenegger also used partial reps for dumbell flyes

  • Going to full extension does no good, unless you are also trying to work your triceps in the same workout, then go for it. The full extension isn't the problem, the front deltoids and chest being even at the start of the rep is. It is simple biomechanics, but I guess that is why I paid so much for my degree, so I could learn that.

  • No you can't fully isolate any muscle during a compound movement, but you can change the emphasis greatly. In order to isolate the chest to it's max during any pressing movement, the pecs must first be higher than the front deltoids (keeping a high chest) and second, the triceps can't be fully activated. They will assist in raising the arms, but they will completely take over once the arms have reached a 45 degree bend at the elbow, usually 8-10 inches above the chest on average.

  • And the guy in the red shirt is pressing his flyes.

  • since you brought it up, what about full extension on an incline hammer strength?

  • His Condition looks just it was last O !

  • Comment removed

  • rock on jay you da man!!!

  • Lol those triceps on that little guy are straight either implants, or fucked up.

  • lyt. You think you can truly isolate a part of a muscle?- lol!.

  • it looks weird !!

  • yeah they look ugly and small and...fake.

  • the elastic band is a great idea?

  • That skinny guys arms are weird like he has tricep implant or something...

  • Thanks for the videos Jay!! Keep em coming!

  • jay is the best, 09 Mr O

  • something is still not right with that left lat,its kind of what happend to ronnie in 06 and 07,must be a injury!
