  • Many Christians want to argue that God doesn't want us to empty our minds because we open the door to evil spirits. I propose that our minds are already filled with more evil than we know what to do with. Negative thinking, hatred, judgmentalism, pride, fear, doubt, and worry are just a few of the mental disorders many Christians battle with everyday. We can point fingers at the devil but you really dont have to look that far. Just reflect on your own thoughts and mind, then decide.

I know personally, I am being attcked daily with my thoughts? it is hard sometimes. of theese things which are true and lovely and of God and his ways let me meditate on , with my daily reflections. We are in the last days now. our time is short here, let's draw people to God by being and acting as a living example to the world. not by complaining and murmuring etc... forgive me lord, for my shortcomings. amen.

  • If getting closer to God is her intent, who's going to disagree with that?! God will reward her - and us, for seeking Him sincerely.

  • thank you for this gentle reminder. my quiet time with God is in the morning early I rise, and meditate on his word. Thank him for waking me for another Day, and to light and guide me. May the words of my mouth and meditation of my Heart be acceptable and pleaseing in thy sight. Help me to do things your Way! Not The World's way.

  • You know what, I don't care about Rhonda's doctrine. I don't even care about her use of Scripture, correctly done or not. I care about her intent, and her voice. Her intent is to bring Christians closer to God through meditation, and her voice is wonderfully soothing. I believe that both are at God's disposal and that He is making use of them. Y'all work out the doctrinal/scriptural issues with God on your own, and let this lady do what she's best at.

  • @ddieter603 amen to that, as it has truely helped me for sure and is serving as a reminder , on how to be or act becomingly. It is up to each man to work-out there own Salvation. Let u be transformed by the renewing of your mind. thoughts lead to actions and words.

  • Thanks Rhonda, your video was special and interesting. The part where you say about making the time with God as a ritual inspired me to take a shower before meditating so i'm more relaxed.

  • @cranberrydude yes we all have daily rituals, everyone on the planet, being looking for food and water for some in other countries. but we all have at least one we do daily.

  • Rhonda, please look into what Scripture has to say about our minds

    "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." - Philippians 4:8.

    We aren't to "empty" our minds, as Eastern Meditation instructs, but to fill our minds with Jesus Christ. I would encourage you to read an article on Lectio Divina at onetruthministries . com

  • @wavesofgrace01 : Whenever someone has an opinion that they post in a blog or video, regarding Christianity, there's always a bunch of people disagreeing with it and then warning each other to do things the right way. And they all try to impress each other by citing Bible verses and then interpreting them whatever way they've been taught, which of course is the right way. No wonder there's so many denominations, especially among Protestants. It's embarrassing and it makes me sad.

  • @isabellibrizzi I am a very proud Protestant! for it the Roman Catholics whom are still Power-tripping. and hiding behind ,"a Diplomatic Immunity, clause" apparantly it is acceptable to them to sell children, wipe out nations and people. Most of the largest world wide Pedophile ring! never to get to go to jail for raping and torturing children! apparantly it is OK, to be overlooked, swept under the carpet, and try to keep hidden. guess what the word is out!

  • Dear @isabellibrizzi - I agree with what you said below - we gain nothing by pulling down other people in the name of right. At the end of the day such division and hatred just goes against everything that Christ stood for. Why not just put aside denominational differences and we all pray together for what is really necessary? - to overcome the evil perpetrated day after day in this world - whether by Catholics or others, or by politicians, porno stars, media tycoons or on the internet

  • @ederoose the word protestant, that somone has taught u is degrading to others everywhere? let's try not to do that please and thanks, else u acting no better than others? unkind words can be harmful to many. We are in the last days now. men shall be lovers of themselves selfish prideful, boasting etc.. 2 tim:3. the word is to protest Catholic ways, not to not Love God and have a personal relationship with him, our creator. Not that all Catholics are bad either though.

  • I like to pray everyday before I go to sleep, I find that relaxing myself beforehand helpful for example listening to soft soothing music. Also I like to meditate on verses from the bible that I find comforting.
