I have to say...as good of an idea this is the way the CPR is taught needs to be a little more formal...I saw a lot of ineffective compressions and incorrect placement of AED pads.

Most AED's use BI-PHASEIC pads. This means that there is no need to place one pad in a speific place. They can go in either location on the chest
