@pilotswen don't know if you have found out yet already but RIGHT before you touch I think you go to full throttle in case the tailhook doesn't catch and you can go around, but I might be wrong. I think that's how it is in real life but it might not work here
i got 3wire, very easy to use but I can't use the arestor cables, I use SHIFT-F11 and it says I'm good to land, put the tailhook down but nothing happens and I go around...
If yur is the installer application, it sometime doesnt show up, so u have to install it into yur desktop, and copy the folder files into yur directory and yur done. Hopes this helps still.....
how do u get the carrier to work. ive tried everything and it never works. could anyone explain the complete steps to getting the carrier, catapult, and arresting wires to work

How come when I use mine, it doesn't have any gauges and the hud is just black?
Like all the gauges are clear.
I don't have Acceleration, but I just got his update that allowed people to use it without acceleration.

When you hit the carrier for a landing , all you have to do is brake or not?

I don't think that this is a D-model. It might be a B-model instead. It has the GE engines like the D, but with the A-model cockpit.

ok. first thing is that its easier to get an aircraft with gauges for carrier. go to simviation (google it) and search for the following:
Waikato aircraft carrier
F-14 by Dino Cattatino (check spelling)
Carrier operation package ( file name RCBCO_20.zip)
For rcbco FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS. if you have a question ITS IN THE READ ME!!

i got it from simviation dot com in the FS2004 scenery page 6. it comes with AI flights but i dont know how to get those to work.

dont bother with 3wire, try to get flightdeck 3 or 4. they are so much easier to set up
