When I saw them, there were two. They are really beautiful at night. They have a luminescent white glowing center and have an aura that goes from bluish-indigo to a reddish-violet as you get further away from the core. the glowing region extends outwards about 10 feet around the central white glowing part. they move in a sort of stair stepping pattern and then fly off well over the speed of sound.
