  • where can i buy blade fuse taps from? i cant find them anywhere!

  • how do u connect the possitive cables together or crimp them ?? 2:00 - 2:30

i dont have a switch either is it still possible !!

  • do u need the switch cant u just connect it to the fuse of the headlight so then it will turn on when u turn on the headlights and i wont need the switch will tht work or what if i want it always on cant i just connect it to the same fuse u did and not put a switch ?

    Thanks

  • is this safe to do via the fuse box?

  • i have those seat covers

  • what model is your car

  • nice man thanks

  • You have the same seat coversa as me (:

  • You should be able to get the lights to turn on with the radio by hooking it to the remote turn on...get a circuit tester and play around with it to see which turn on when you turn on the car.... I would suggest just going with a toggle though because your not always going to want them on trust me

  • How to hoof up the led strips to the remote cable on my head unit? i want them to come on when i switch on my deck.

  • um can you make a video on how to install your switch cause i have th same one and i have an impreza and i just wanted to know if you can make a vid on how to put it in the pockets like yours

  • do you know how i can make the LED's turn on like when i open the car door..without the car being on

  • @doktawakta3 You can wire them to the overhead light fuse

  • @J4SONM where's the overhead light fuse placed?...

  • @J4SONM where's the overhead light fuse placed?...

  • @doktawakta3 wire them to your door switch but its a negitiv wire

  • damn dude can u mail me the instructions im bad at video instruction =/

  • i put mine in my trunk.... so i just wired them to the amp turn on switch.... seems to be workin nicely

  • If you have subs, or any kind of amplifier under 500w (it could me an amp for subs, or highs, it doesn't matter...) You could wire them to the speaker wires going from the amp, to the speakers...(I do NOT recommend doing this with neons with neons...They draw more power...LED's ONLY!!!)...They draw almost NO power, so your subs or speakers won't be less as loud...Don't put led's on an amp over 500w, because they might explode...And, your LED's will flash to the beat of the music...

  • where are some places where you can buy the LED strips?

  • @Zbox3000 kragen, autozone, walmart, and autoshops

  • @J4SONM where do the negative wire from the light go too?

  • @chumpchange3000 Any ground point on the car

  • Comment removed

  • @chumpchange3000 One of them is probably a ground point, you can just ignore that

  • hey there, i was wondering where you got that switch from?

  • @pokeisthermz250rider Autozone

  • which prong on the back of the switch do you attach the wire with the fuse tap to and which prong do you attach the positive wire to

  • @poker2k8 it doesn't matter, either one

  • get sum shoes lol

  • hi mate good video im in the uk and cant get fuse taps so i was wondering is it possible to cut the positive off the cigarette and just use that wire for the positive instead of adding something else to the fuse

    thanks

  • hey man how do u wire that 3 ways switch

  • black is for power.

  • dude very good video i like the way explain every single step and show how to do it thanks for the video..

  • i am taping in to the cigarette lighter wires and i need to know which is the power and which one is the ground, the colors are one is yellow and other is black

  • how does the whole thing work?? does it work off the fuse?

  • @MrBmxpride yes

  • i tried groundin it in several spots, still wont work. even wen i ground it n touch it to the positive on my battery nothin happens

  • i had it connected to the negative wire for the light

  • @ghandi215 you need to connect it to a ground point on your car

  • im trying to connect my lights to where my interior foot lights or w/e u wana call em were. they work, but whenever i touch the wires together, nothin happens. u kno what im doin wrong?

  • @ghandi215 Do you have it grounded?

  • hey friend, do i need to put a 2a fuse thought a fuse adapter? or its not needed`?

  • Good video, i spent ages looking for simple instructions and yours is by far the simplest, thanks mate :)

  • @JC71693 That should work.

  • @JC71693 If you connect it to the battery directly, the lights will be on 24/7, unless you add in a switch or something. You can try tapping into the fuse without a fuse tap, but I don't know if it will hold.

  • @JC71693 No, a fuse holder is not the same thing. Do you have a radio shack in Canada? Try going to any electronics/hobby store and I'm sure they will have it. You just have to ask a worker or something.

  • @JC71693 It's a fuse tap.

  • can't afford shoes?

  • Thanks man!

  • The LED light strips.

  • @TheMrhoneycutt oznium(dot)com

  • Where did you get these?

  • @TheMrhoneycutt get what?

  • soooo the power comes from the fuse?

  • okay awesome thaNKS!! trying it today xD

  • does the cig lighter still works?

  • @ICEMAN562 yes...

  • automatic transmission?

  • whats the gauge on the positive wire??

  • how did you hook up the leds lights for the back?? ( footwell )

  • do u have the leds that pulse w. the music? if so were did u get thm

  • hey how did u mount the switch into the car i have the exact same switch but idk how to mount it n the car

  • @cap1518 Just take out one of the fake buttons and hot glue it or something

  • wait what do you do with the negative wires? and how do you get the fuse tab in?

  • @pippip1993 Negative wire isn't really a negative wire... it's a ground, you hook it up to a grounding point in the car

  • i adore how you explain lmao !! no but good job dude :P

  • :P kk thanks

  • :P:P one more question sorry, the switch i bought has a spot to ground the wire on it, should i ground the wite there or to bolt like u said, wats better??

  • @599armani Use the bolt

  • ahah kk thanks man i hope everything works(Y)

  • just one question, i wanna do 4 led's in all the foot wells, like in the back and front, so from the switch if i wire it in a parrales circuit will i have 12V or w.e to each LED????

  • @599armani To my understanding, yes, that is correct.

  • ok so i bought the fuse tabs from radioshack but it can't go inside with the fuse

  • @elevit1995 it might be kinda hard to get in there, but just push hard enough and it will go.

  • man this is somthing that i ahve been loooking for, for the longest figgen time, this help unbelieably alot aha thanks dude!!!!!

  • @599armani no problem man glad i could help

  • do you have to use the fuse tabs? can't you just put the positive around the fuse instead of using the fuse tabs?

  • @elevit1995 I suppose you could but I wouldn't wanna risk messing something up or shorting something out

  • If you connect the positive ends of both the LEDs wont they be only getting half the power they should be and not be as bright because of that?

  • i have 2 questions...one is will the cig. lighter still work and the other one is how did you install that swicht or where can you buy it.

  • @elevit1995 Yes cig lighter still works and I bought the switch from autozone

  • i got a question if i tape into the fuse or use a spade clip. will the cigarette lighter still work?

  • yea

  • use spade connectors for the fuse not that clip he was using

  • how did you install the switch? did you have to take out the whole dash ?

  • you only have to take out the part under the steering wheel

  • thanks man

  • Got a quick question about the trigger switch. Where did you get them and does the sizes matter like i'm looking at oznium and the toggle switch safety is a15/32" hole but the switches on the site all ask for 1/2" holes. Is there a different site that you got your switch from?

  • I got it from AutoZone

  • @J4SONM

    Thanks =3 Great vids!!!

  • I did this and it looks bad ass. Hook your lights to a switch in the glove box so that it lights up and doubles as a glove box light, no need to have a switch in the open if you wanna keep your warranty. Also buy a better fuse tap (one that will hold more than one fuse not share a fuse!)

  • hey whered you get your seat covers? and how much were they?

  • ebay like 20 bucks

  • alright cool thanks

  • whered you get the led lights from?

  • oznium(dot)com

  • thanks bro

  • and sorry to bother you again but how many inches or feet did you have ib that video?

  • 9.5 inches

  • whered you get the lights from?

  • Thanks!

  • What length are they and are you happy with the length or would you get longer ones? i'm going to order a set of reds.

  • 9.5 inches. they are the perfect size.

  • @J4SONM ha ive head that before !

cool vid.. what other mods you got on your car? i love little interior and ext mods ! cheap and simple lol

  • lol...

here's a vid of all my mods

    watch?v=PvjrB_W3-n0

  • i have a switch but it has more than 2 terminals to plug into. does it matter which one and can i use the other terminals to put in more lights

  • I dont think it should matter which one

  • I have these exact LED's on my Corsa SRi '06', they don't require a fuse at all, just connect them up to any 12V supply, e.g. behind cigarette lighter, light switch etc with a couple of scotch connectors or chocolate blocks and they work fine. Or just wire a seperate switch into the lighter socket and run them of of that.

  • about how much do fuse taps cost?

  • Uhh I don't remember. They're under 5 bucks.

  • did u use bigger fuse?(bigger amps) if you tap the led's?

  • nope, just use the same one

  • hey how did you remove the reserve switch?? details plis...

  • reserve switch? if you mean the blank switch, you can just pop it out.

  • so do you need a bigger fuse?(bigger amps) if you tap the led's?

  • ud love havin my car, u dont have to take all that stuff apart, my car is a 92 corolla dx and there is pretty much nothin under or behind the dash nd steerin wheel to remove, right now i got blue neon, but they go to the cig lighter not a switch lol

  • My fuse box is in the engine compartment, how to i tap my wires if i wan it to be on when i switch on my pole lights?

  • You would just have to tap it into that fuse.

  • Nice video bro i have a question i have a neon tube but i'm gonna get rid of it because it burns out to fast i wanna get sum lights like what you have and install them to a switch but i was wondering how did you wire it to the switch

  • nice vid man is it the same thing if i splice into the ciggate lighter itself? also if i splice do i need to put a fuse in it?

  • yea its the same and no no fuse its needed

  • oh it does? cool...do u still have ur stock battery in the car? or did u buy another battery or have 2 of em?

  • stock battery

    LEDs use little power

  • oh and sorry, third question, when u tap the cig lighter, does the cig lighter itself still work?

  • yes

  • hey i saw this video too, the place where you put the red switch, do u have to break that little plastic cover? can you put it back if ever u wana take neons out? and also, do you know another switch than the cig lighter one that i could use?

  • no it just pops out of place and you can put it back in if you want

you can use any switch u want

  • what are those switches calleed?

can u find it on ebay?

    thanks

  • I call them Missile Switches

You can find them on ebay or at AutoZone

  • this is a good video to keep on here, atleast now if i wanna upgrade to higher grade brighter lights i no what 2 do[i have cheap neons that the power just runs off the cig lighter], is it pretty much the same concept as puttin the lights under the car as in wirin? or do i have to do somethin completely diffrent?

  • Should be the same concept...

  • alright, just wanted to make sure b4 i went and fried my car lol, not to big on knowin how to install lights, im speaker smart not light smart XD, that and my car is a bit older then urs.... by alot

  • Did you conceal the wires?

  • Yes, I tucked and zip tied them all behind the panels.

  • do i connect the power wire from the fuse to the switch...

  • Yes

  • thank you...

  • No problem

  • thank you nice video how do i get the power to the switch...
