Probably my favorite song off the first UVS album! Such a cute, sentimental song. Great video too! Kurt Ralske definitely had a distinctive singing style. Kim was perfect as always on backing vocals! Always loved her childlike vocals in everything she did, (Pixies,Breeders,Amps). And yes, Kim is beautiful!

Going to college in Dayton from 1990-1996 I hung out in the Oregon District and Walnut Hills. The music scene in Dayton them years was awesome. Playing pool with them was a treat, especially when they broke out their instruments in front of 20-50 people and start jamming. Kim, Kelly (Breeders/Tammy and the Amps), Brainiac, Real Lulu, Guided by Voices/Bob Pollard. Was a great time and great music. thanks for the song. Was awesome!

I hope the "didnt know who she was" in reference to Kurt Ralske was some sort of bad joke, especially given the second time around. What a great video this was - great to have it up. I only saw it once around the time that "Joy: 67-90" was released. Kurt did some great stuff; some of the EPs were stand-outs with the EP version of "Three Stars" REALLY an excellent cut. Ditto for the long version of Codeine & Mercy Seat. Codeine was quite haunting... K
