I like this G.I.Joe series/movie/special. Hollywood should take an example from the outfits in this special, they seem modern and still have the allure of the 80s counterparts, well in this youtuber's opinion. Also Grey Deliuse is a great voice actress, love her as Baroness, Scarlett and the new Dial tone.
I gotta say I love this version of GIJoe. Great animation and more realistic battles. They modified lots of the original design to suit it but they could always make a new season, aye?

What's not cool is this nonsense of Ellis pairing Scarlett with Duke just because Sunbow did it back in the 80's, and only because the animators then were too lazy to work around Snake Eyes' muteness. Snake Eyes and Scarlett are the original couple and have all the backstory. Duke and Scarlett have no connection in the comics. What's not cool is Hasbro denying Snake Eyes and Scarlett from having their relationship portrayed onscreen for nearly 30 years.

On the surface, 'Resolute' looks good. But peel back the layers and the heart and soul that Larry Hama infused in the comic book series just isn't there, and I don't just say that because I hate what Warren Ellis did to Snake Eyes & Scarlett's relationship in this cartoon. A lot of people might think 'Resoute' is cool, but for all its coolness it is also cold. To quote Stephen King's comment on Stanley Kubrick's version of 'The Shining', "It's like a big, beautiful car with no engine in it."

Destro was never a black guy, dude. In the cartoons series, they use a black voice actor for the cartoon version of Destro, back then they didn't care because there had no real backstory to Destro until later on in the cartoon series.
Yes, thank you for the infor. I ready seen the movie and I use to have the Marvel comics from back in the 1980's and I seen the cartoons aswell. But in the toyline series before the cartoon started, the backstory of Destro wasn't told until later on in the cartoon, but one of the stories for Destro back in the 80's was that he was suspose to be a black man from Scottland, but later on they change it for other reasons. But kept the black voice actor for Detro because he sound deep and med-evil.
he was never have supposed to have been black Hasbro even had a rule that none of the villains created for the original toy line where to be black .storm shadow was the first cobra to be a minority.you can see destros chest in the early comics some of the cartoons and the variant of the toys he very clearly has white skin.
There's still a gravitational pull in space, it's just inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the objects, so it falls off quickly with distance.
My only beef is the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" moment with Duke and Scarlet. Seriously 2 with hand guns vs many with assault rifles with the 2 in the middle of a pocket of the many. That was hard to believe with Brad and Angelina and that was hard to believe now. I know, I know, "Its a movie" but it had been so much better until then.

Interesting how you mentioned that GI Joe is called "Action Force" in Europe. Larry Hama's original idea when he was working at Marvel was to create a spin-off of Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. which would've been called "Fury Force" about a special-ops unit, but it never got off the ground. When Larry Hama was approched by Marvel to write the GI Joe comic book series, he simply took his original storyline ideas for "Fury Force" and put them into GI Joe.

he was never have supposed to have been black Hasbro even had a rule that none of the villains created for the original toy line where to be black .storm shadow was the first cobra to be a minority.you can see destros chest in the early comics some of the cartoons and the variant of the toys he very clearly has white skin.

My only beef is the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" moment with Duke and Scarlet. Seriously 2 with hand guns vs many with assault rifles with the 2 in the middle of a pocket of the many. That was hard to believe with Brad and Angelina and that was hard to believe now. I know, I know, "Its a movie" but it had been so much better until then.

My only beef with the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" moment with Duke and Scarlett is that it should've been with Snake Eyes and Scarlett, like the comics. There was even a moment in the comics when Scarlett held two bullets in her hand and showed them to Snake Eyes during a battle with Cobra -- one for her and one for him. She looks at him and says "Were not getting captured!" Total devotion to each other; that's a Snake Eyes/Scarlett moment!

Actually, I hated the cartoons putting her with Duke as well as the movie trying to put her with Ripcord. I'm sick of Hollywood disrespecting the Snake Eyes/Scarlett romance just because they don't want to have to work around the fact that Snake Eyes doesn't talk.

Thanks I´m a real romantic plus I´m sick and tired off watching bright young women(real or fictional) choose these "goodlooking" jock morons, not that Duke is such a moron but he just does´nt fit together with Scarlet. Besides it is a fictional story and here the jocks should´nt(for once) get the pretty girl all the time like they usually do in reality!
When I saw the little mermaid for the first time (I was 18 I think) I was sobbing in the end

They are a bit rarre in Sweden(especially the american issiues are hard to come by!)
I think I should have just about all the Action Force(European version-name) issues and that aint much(only went for about two years maybe three!)

Interesting how you mentioned that GI Joe is called "Action Force" in Europe. Larry Hama's original idea when he was working at Marvel was to create a spin-off of Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. which would've been called "Fury Force" about a special-ops unit, but it never got off the ground. When Larry Hama was approched by Marvel to write the GI Joe comic book series, he simply took his original storyline ideas for "Fury Force" and put them into GI Joe.

He served in the Army in Vietnam and became a firearms and explosive ordinance expert before becoming a writer. Hama used his SHIELD vs. HYDRA concept for FURY FORCE as the back-story for GI JOE. He included military terms and strategies, Eastern philosophy, martial arts and historical references from his own background.
