Isn't that a wonderful thought? Jesus is preparing a place for us. He knows what we like. I don't think that we will be at all disappointed with the interior decorating of those mansions. If Colorado is any example to God's awesome creation is decor and I know it is. Wow!! I can't even begin to imagin how much more beautiful the mansions are and the new Earth Yahweh is creating for us as we speak.

Isn't that an AWESOME Thought??? To my understanding Heaven is even more Beautiful that the Earth. I have heard it said that if a person dies and sees Heaven they don't want to come back here. So with that thought I comfort myself. We may miss them of course we do. But I like to think of them in the presence of the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I've heard that too Michelle about people saying Heaven is so beautiful. A guy who had an afterlife experience said as much. It was at a Catholic Newman Center gathering in 1986, and he described to a small group of us of having died, then seeing the Light I believe as opposed to the Void. Then everything was greener than green, and bluer than blue. And when he was told he had to come back, he asked "WHY???!!!!"
I once read a book of testimonies of people who had died and were sent back. I can't remember the name of the book. But it was a very touching book to read. It even had some testimonies of children. When someone passes I can't help thinking about what a wonderful place they are in.
And don't forget Monterey. I was able to see with a group of JD friends (on a trip to the 1998 Memorial in Pacific Grove), where John's 2nd house was. It was BEAUTIFUL, just above the shoreline on a cliff. He loved the CA coast as much as he loved CO. He bought that house and the Long EZ in order to be closer to Jessie Belle
He was very much down to earth. I met him backstage after a concert in May of 1997, and he was genuine, friendly and a bit shy. He went to the children first, then the adults. I don't know the whole story on he and his wives, just that he loved Annie until the end. On her birthday in 1997ish, he bought her a bouquet of roses and when she asked why he did that, he said "oh Annie...because I love you." She made that comment at the Aspen Memorial.
JD took very good care of Annie, his mother and his 3 children with multimillion dollar trust fund for each. As for the Aussie - she got nothing! She tried to get the money from the other trust funds but the courts struck that down quickly. He loved Annie until the moment that he died - and they both knew it. They were finally - good friends for the last few years of his life. Annie is now a psychologist in Aspen. Three of Denver's 5 trust funds were lost in the Madoff scandal!!!
Many of these pictures Kathy took on her journey from Vermont to Pacific Grove, California - summer 2008. And up in heaven - if Kathy ever stops yelling at John Denver to fill the gas tanks - I am sure she will look down and love this a lot!!! Her favorite song and pictures and some that she took!!! The license tag still gets me - she LOVED that tag!! I do miss the goofy emails from our Daffodil Lady!
There are a lot of people who would be yelling at him to fill the gas tanks, including Jim Horn, who for a long time had a lot of difficulty performing John's music on stage. A late friend of mine named Cindy whom I met in 1997 at the Redondo Beach Memorial 11-12-97, who knew John (she died last year of complications from a stroke), would be on John's case as well...LOL. Except she was very polite. She'd be doing it with a velvet hammer. :-)

This is only a sample.
Acually, no, because this is also a fallen world and earth.
The new world will have NO sin, no evil one.
He just get's better and better, there is no limet to His power, His beauty, He creation.
