@PerfectStranger43 It's because Anette doesn't have the vocal range of Tarja and sings in her "head voice" a term used in vocal training to basically mean singing from the sinus. She sounds more like all the contemporary pop artists, because they too, are either trained to sing from their head voice or just can't do any more than that. Tarja can sing professionally, bringing the sound from the trunk and lungs, and torso, using the whole body to manipulate it. She is VERY skilled.

No matter her training, techiques and sophistication, the best feats for Tarha are imho her "musical ear" and stunning voice.

Tarja's voice is unique without having any flaw, it's perfectly balanced and beautiful.
