i guess he figured that if the rear got loose and he went into the trees he was done for anyway. The helmet might just prolong what could be a short, quick death.

Seriously; vette's handle like Impala's w/o pwr steering! i do miss it. still have the 550hp 350. i sold the 2x4's for what my dad pd 4 car in '66; $1700.
