  • This pumpkinhead is the brother of Chuck Norris

  • Any idea what the kids are singing in the background? All I can make out is "Pumpkinhead, Pumpkinhead, better watch out or you'll be dead." Is there another line?

  • @Lynch098 Keep away from Pumpkinhead,Unless you're tired of living,His enemies are mostly dead,He's mean and unforgiving,Laugh at him and you're undone,But in some dreadful fashion,Vengeance, he considers fun,And plans it with a passion,

Time will not erase or blot,A plot that he has brewing,It's when you think that he's forgot,He'll conjure your undoing,Bolted doors and windows barred,Guard dogs prowling in the yard,Won't protect you in your bed,Nothing will, from Pumpkinhead.

  • Fuckin love this movie.

  • 1:19 for "PUMPKINHEAD"

  • Comment removed

  • now it begins...

  • @WhatDoYouWant4DinDin Dude, chill. I said I was about 5 or 6 when I saw it. To a little kid, that monster was really creepy. Minus the horrible acting, the plot was REALLY good. It played on your senses. But, OF COURSE, you can create a better plot...

  • Actually a really good movie :3 Saw it when I was 5 or 6, and I was traumatized for weeks...

  • Pumpkinhead vs Rawhead Rex. Who wins ?

  • Don't know why he's called pumpkinhead..

  • @TheWhatdoesthatmean The movie explains that. The demon was supposedly "born" in a pumpkin field.

  • @TheWhatdoesthatmean If you watch the movie you'll hear the witch "Haggis" talk about a cemetery where her kin would bury the bodies of the "undesirables". Pumpkinhead is buried in that cemetery on an elevated area that has a pumpkin patch. Whoever conjures up Pumpkinhead ends up being the next Pumpkinhead demon after they themselves are killed.

  • pumpkinhead is better than alien. part 2 is good too

  • 240p... we meet again... not just in the youtube video but IN the movie also...

  • lol this is too ghetto to even be scary XDDDDDDD

  • @ dodokitty14 true but its like the movies. The thing, and clash of the tittans. The remakes suck but yet u still want to watch them.

  • pumpkinhead=bad copy of ridley scott's alien

  • One of the better monster movies. Plus, Lance Henriksen!

  • cool flick!

  • I don't understand why Netflix doesn't have this on demand.

  • This is fucked up, and not in the good The thing kind of way, more like Blood Rayne 3 fucked up.

  • They should remake this movie

  • @kkkcoke Remakes suck. And Stan Winston died. It wouldn't be the same and the awssome looking monster would be replaced with shitty cgi.

  • Does anyone else thing they should remake this i mean no the same story but

in a diffrent direction. I think they should and none of that straight to dvd crap but let it hit the big screen it would be killer.

  • this one spawned so many shitty sequels, but this one is the best, I think.

It's also the movie I saw when I was 2yrs.

  • Is this the one when some chickens kill a villager? that was funny, but not good

  • This movie played like a scary Twilight Zone episode. It creeped on your nerves. When the hag said,"GOD dammed me long ago!" You knew she meant it.

  • PUMKIN AAAAAAAAAAAA DUDE

  • This didn't scare me at all it just made me cry when the last words from the boy was "daddy. :(

  • thats ok i didnt want to go to sleep anyways

  • Sorry everybody, but Insidious focused everything on jump scares. I found nothing to be truly scared of at all. It started out pretty decent but the moment they explained the "hauntings," I face palmed so very, very hard. It just became cheesy from then on and I left the experience angry and disappointed after all the hype. Pumpkinhead, on the other hand, always set an awesome atmosphere for the kind of movie it was trying to be. So, it was good.

  • had the scariest fuckin dream ever about this movie last night and i have never even seen it

  • this movie scared the living hell outa me... but than i watched insidious, now pumpkin head aint so bad

  • @angiemae12 that red faced guy from insidious looks like darth maul so it wasnt all that scary for me

  • @tmacsgvs it wont rly scary it was jus creepy lmao... insidious is my fav movie now ha

  • pumpkinhead...boohahahaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!so fuckn awesome!!

  • I'm a huge fan of this film, I love the pumpkinhead design, he looks really scary as hell, i also have the mcfarlane figure they made of it.

  • This scared me as a kid because i lived near the appalachian mountains

  • @TheFalloutguy101 You mean in the appalachian region? I'm studying that in school.

  • This brought back memories :')

  • I made a full body suit of this out of spandex and paper mache for my 8th grade holloween haunted house back in 93,we hosted in in a condemned part of the school, with strobe lights and shit it was fucking scarey...goal was to raise 2000 dollars,i was put in charge of the action...we ended up raising 7,000...never been more proud of myself in my entire life.

  • Name fail...

  • "God damn you, God damn you!"

"He already has, son. He already has."

Funny thing about this movie...both teenage Superman and Todd Gack are in it.

  • @gspendlove Oh, and Blossom, too.

  • 1:19 "i'm getting head"

  • It's alright

  • lame :/

  • it's what you wanted... ed harley....

  • Way I see it, Pumpkinhead looks like a Xenomorph under the effects of the Necronomicon. Who's with me?

  • the thing is so much better

  • @tylerf13ful While I agree The Thing is the better movie, the monster FX in Pumpkinhead were great.I think even Rob Bottin (The Thing's special FX creator) would agree with that.

  • a man told me that this movie was filmed on his street

  • Now This Is A Story

Of A Good Man Named Ed

  • I need to own this..

  • Teenagers are afraid of pumpkinhead.

Pumkinhead is afraid of the doomguy :D

  • Ruled.

  • PLS ST0P

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • I have a cabin in west virginia(near where this video "takes place"). I still bring all of my guns and ammo. It's funny that when I pack all of this, I still think of this movie. Scared me shitless as a kid.

  • i allways thought pumpkinhead rather looked like one of ridley scotts aliens

  • @sultaa86 Yes... he does.. You can take an old 1979 Alien fig and coat it in clay with out much effort to get pumpkinhead. Whether or not the plot is at all original, I dislike the fact that Pumkinhead is almost a direct rip of the H.R. Giger Xenomorphs.

  • Both Pumpkinhead and the Aliens were worked on by Stan Winston. God rest his soul.

  • Horror novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • @SamDeRe81 yeah but just about any 'horror' movie is scary as a kid ;)

  • I always wondered why Pumpkin Head and the Alien have similar looking bodies.

  • @altermarvin21 Because Stan Winston who did the effects for the movies Aliens Directed Pumpkinhead, he and his effects had minor influence from Alien when designing Pumpkinhead

  • @TheCosmicFireStar actually H.R. Giger did the designs the Alien creature ,when Stan winston had a chance to make the creature effects he used the same original design but removed the domed head and changed the color ,hands and feet ,but I think your right about the pumkinhead idea coming from aliens .

  • @Scifiiguy

H.R. Giger was the designer for the original Alien for Ridley Scott's film, but the creature effects for James Cameron's sequel Aliens were done by Stan Winston, your right that they used the same designs by Giger but they modified them a bit as you said by removing the domed head and changed the color, hands and feet, the queen was designed by Jim, I really like Pumpkinhead, but many think of him as an alien with skin and eyes, he's such a cool underrated movie monster

  • @TheCosmicFireStar well ya the sounds right pumkinhead is still pretty cool and actually he is pretty underated ,dont know why though.

  • @Scifiiguy

Its mostly because Pumpkinhead didn't have a very good release date, because the film's production company DeLaurentis Entertainment Group were going bankrupt the film had to be pulled from theaters, it later gain United Artist MGM as the new distributer, it gained more popularity on video, tv and dvd

  • @Scifiiguy

Pumpkinhead also gained a terrible sequel Pumpkinhead 2 blood wings, and two direct sequels Pumpkinhead Ashes to ashes Pumpkinhead Blod fued which were not as good as the original but I kinda like

  • I love this movie. I like how the guy gives the evil look after they hit his son.

  • This is not as scary as Jason vs Freddy

  • @robloxgirl66 its freddy vs jason ... you never read the title ?

  • boondox made a song based on the same poem this movie is based on (an he did a pretty good job- quite a tribute)

  • @mcchapelle Love that song

  • @AltJisatsu lol same (it's got a nice intense rock feel for a horrorcore track which ups the whole mood of the song)... i guess boondox knows how to be a homicidal revenge demon- given his fam history

  • I liked the sequeal "Squash Booty" better.

  • @SamDeRe81 still one of the best monsters ever made...puts any cg monster to shame

  • @Daisycutt3r yup any monster... like you

  • @WalkingDollarBill Im not sure what that means....what do u mean?

  • @Daisycutt3r just kidding around haha

  • I just piked up a copy of Pumpkinhead signed by Lance Henriksen. What a great actor he is....one of my favs. Cool trailer!!

  • If this hasn't already been mentioned, the music in this trailer was taken from the movie Silver Bullet.

  • I came here because of Pumpkinhead's Revenge lol

  • is it just me or does pumpkinhead look like alien?

  • only the great Stan winston

  • Ah, there is nothing better than a good family comedy such as this :)

  • look at full version of this particular movie right here from a+v+a+t+z.net remove +

  • @richwicz Looks aint everything.

  • We have pumpkin heads in New Jersey. It's those DAM YANKEES doin it.

  • hes more like tumor head

  • ...his head is not a pumpkin

  • I had a friend that said Hulj Hogan's movie "No holds bared" was better than this. Key word had a friend.

  • @thingjob LMAO.

  • nice... i livo this movie but i cant deny that i was terriefied what i first time watch it.

  • I think pumpkin head as a monster is overrated, he was scary as he'll for his day but he doesn't weigh up to other monster villains like the creeper IMO. Still a great movie none the less.

  • @3spn4life Pumpkinhead looks miles better than the creeper imo.

  • i thought this was more sad than scary but then again ive watched horror movies since i was 10 months old. my first movie as a baby was an interview with a vampire. i felt sorry for the pumpkin head

  • me my sister and my brother watched this when i was 2 and they said they where rally scared holding pillows over their face but i was just sitting laughing at it lol ^_^

  • Ohh cammon... He wanted him to catch his hand for sure... 1:00 LOL!

  • Bah... Chewbacca is much more scary.

  • Keep away from Pumpkinhead Unless you're tired of living, His enemies are mostly dead, He's mean and unforgiving, Laugh at him and you're undone, But in some dreadful fashion, Vengeance, he considers fun, And plans it with a passion, Time will not erase or blot, A plot that he has brewing, It's when you think that he's forgot, He'll conjure your undoing, Bolted doors and windows barred, Guard dogs prowling in the yard, Won't protect you in your bed, Nothing will, from Pumpkinhead.
  • @Scarytail

    beautifully horrifying.

  • @Scarytail Thanks! I've been trying to get the words right to that for quite some time! I appreciate it!!

  • @pilanceboil you are welcome.

  • @Scarytail i laughed

  • @maverickrcks You laughed? Well...I roared.

  • @Scarytail misfits

  • @Scarytail what?if your asking why i putted misfits, the misfits band has make a song about pumpkin head

  • @punkjames2 Oh I get it. I just thought it weird is all you put is "Misfits" but i get it now, since you explained it.

  • @Scarytail

You bitch, I can't sleep now.

  • @annie10103 That was my intention, to scare others.

  • @Scarytail

    *Shudders*

  • @annie10103 I mean no harm. I only scare.

  • @Scarytail

    Lulz :)

I'm thinking of watching this as my first horror movie. I have never seen a horror movie before and I'm 13, so naturally all my friends think I'm a wimp -.-

  • @annie10103 Well, hopefully you can find it on dvd somewhere. And just to let you know, there are 3 sequels to this movie.

  • @Scarytail

I heard the sequels are not as good as the original. Is that true? I just want to know in advance. =)

And thank you for the comment on my video by the way =)

  • @annie10103 you are welcome, honestly, that is all a matter of opinion. I like all the Pumpkinhead movies.

  • @Scarytail

    Okay. Thank you =)

  • @annie10103 You are very welcome. if you ever wanna talk, just send me a message

  • @annie10103 This was my first horror movie, I first saw it when I was like 5 or 6, stuck with me forever, i rented it so many times hahaha that we just bought it, It still stands as my first and all time love:)

  • @rafaelLEE93

I think I'm actually going to watch this now. It sounds like a good movie from all the reviews I've read! :)

  • @annie10103 trust me, it's a really good movie, watch it alone though so you could get the full effect of the story.

  • @rafaelLEE93

Oh gosh, I probably won't sleep for a week! I'm really rubbish with horror movies O.O

    Wish me luck! ....

  • Wait, if no evil goes unpunished... then why are the dirt bikers being punished for an accident? I never saw the movie, but maybe if they tried to cover it up then, yeah, that's evil.

  • @A550RGY It's not a definitive definition of "evil", it's what the person THINKS is evil. His kid was killed by teenagers out playing around on their dirt bikes so he wants them to suffer by conjuring Pumpkinhead to come & make them pay for killing his kid.

  • @Aw0L74 Thanks, but that seems pretty wishy-washy to me. I could THINK someone eating meat is EVIL, or someone who swears is EVIL, but the mere thought shouldn't make it so and therefore deserve Pumpkin Punishment.

  • this movie is a classic. a remake would be a disgrace

  • im mad i never heard of this till i saw a comment on a jeepers creepers youtube vid

  • Can you imagine a remake of this with todays special effects? Haha This movie scared the shit out of me as a kid.

  • has anyone else noticed that pumpkinhead is quite similar in construct and some details to the alien rig?

  • never herd of it befor but it looks pretty gay.

  • @kyore789 haha your so cool

  • @kyore789 You're pretty gay.

  • That old woman scared the living hell out of me as a kid. This movie I will be watching the day before Halloween to set the mood for Halloween night. Since I won't have time to watch it on Halloween, going to be out with friends. Anyways, great classic movie.

  • The mark of the perfect scary movie, something that scares you shitless as a kid, maybe a teen when your in the dark, puppetmaster, pumpkinhead, IT, to name a few. will stand the test of time.

  • love this movie, blood wings comes in second

  • I think lots of people are put off by the title, which does sound kind of goofy, but when you actually watch the movie, you find out it's really a pretty scary, atmospheric little monster flick with a decent story, a terrific Lance Henriksen performance, and a truly frightening-looking screen monster. Too bad all the sequels were terrible follow-ups. The original remains quite effective.

  • Not bad but the monster should look like a pumpkin, not a an alien rip off....

  • @dkempf1 stan winston worked on both.

  • i swear! The music from this video sounds EXACTLY like the music in the movie "Silver Bullet" does anyone agree with me?

  • hahahaha cmon son

  • wtf

  • my gay ass teacher is in thizz movie!

  • I love B grade movies and this was class A.

Best horror flick next to "The Thing" 1952 versiion

  • ouaaaaaou

  • this movie scarred me as a child. i had nightmares for years

  • This movie is a classic.

  • Narrator sounded like Art Bell

  • @psychonaut25 lmao@ Art Bell... crazy funny guy

  • I remember watchin this movie when i was younger, GREAT movie, scared the shit out of me, but made me watn to watch over and over.

  • just watch the movie. its a great film. except for some of the teen actors.

  • soo, pumpkin head is a good guy? :)

  • @TheMightyS0ren egh....hes like batman. people dont really like him, but hes just gettin rid of the bad guys.

  • @SamDeRe81 Maybe he does, but right now it's tricky to tell.

  • I never know why they called him pumpikin head, I mean he doesn't have a pumpkin head nore he does not even have a pumkin shape head. It's always been bugging me.

  • @Gatman720 its because it comes out of a graveyard with a pumpkin patch

  • @010742zach You mean he was bury in the pumpkin patch. I guess that kind of make sense.

  • Respond to this video... ok for the ppl dat keep sayin they want 2 see this movie, all u have2 do iz go 2 stagevu.com. i jus downloaded pumpkin head 1 n 2 yesterday on my ps3. jus make sure u read da comments so u dont get a bad copy

  • STAN WINSTON FTW!!!!

  • Damn I love this movie. Damn damn damn I love it.

  • I love how sinister he pronounces "Pumpkinhead". Yeah.

  • im sorry i didn't mean to spoil it :(
