But in MGS4 in the final fight with "Liquid" when he takes off his coat, Liquid's arm has been removed and replaced with a prosthetic arm. So in turn removing Liquid's personality. So somewhere in between 2009 and 2014 Ocelot had his arm replaced and used nano machines and hypnosis to transplant Liquid's will into his own.....

@RetrosageZ Ok let me try to explain as best I can, um... EVA is correct it is still Ocelot's mind but Ocelot used nano machines and hypnosis to transfer Liquids mind to his. So in a way it was still Ocelot, the only thing that is still unclear is if Ocelot was still in control of his mind and was completing what Liquid wanted done or if he was just like a puppet for Liquid's mind. Hopefully that makes sense.....
