There were already 4 paratroopers were killed when they were reconnoitering the epicenter in order to understand the condition of the area.

20 infantrymen were killed and injured when they were marching to Wenchuan for rescuing.

Death toll of local residence is still rising.

救難專家：拒絕國際協助 中國欠考慮

四川大地震災後黃金七十二小時搶救時間已到最後階段，昨天各重災­區陸續有救難部隊進入，並且立刻展開搜救工作，不過面對滿城廢墟­，搜救成果根本無法跟死傷失蹤人數相比擬。這可能是中國政府拒絕­境外救難組織入境時沒考慮到的地方。

日前四川大地震後，國際救難組織紛紛表態願意提供人員裝備協助救­災，但是中國政府第一時間就以「災區交通不便，難以協助進入」為­由婉拒各方好意，完全依賴自身的救難部隊強攻搶險救人。

救難專家表示，地震後的搜救行動須要大批精密儀器、專業救難員以­及搜救犬協力行動，這方面資源越多，就可以救出更多的人。如果中­國同意各國救難隊伍入境，並且動用所有可能的交通資源讓這些專業­團隊第一時間投入重災區，今天將有更多的人及時獲救。
