  • ce stack est effectivement une ceramique qui peut provenir d'un pot d'echappement catalytique de voiture

    cordialement

  • There is a ceramic part that holds the stack. We use fine steel wool and RVC as the stack.

  • Hi. Good experiment. I was wondering, are you using a mesh at the heated end of the tube? Also, is the sound sustainable or does it de-tune and stop after a period?

    Thanks for posting!

    Geoff.

  • Yes, there are two copper mesh layers on both sides of the stack. I am not sure if they are important since most heat (I believe) is added and rejected over tube surfaces. The engine can run long time. We tested it for 15 min and stopped supplying heat.
