Song played all over the country stations back in '06 when God called my Grandpa home.... I told him in my last conversation ever with him, I said "I wanna make you proud Grandpa"... He smiled and said "You already have son". He lapsed into coma and passed away less than a month later.... God I miss him... RIP Grandpa Bowman. 5-6-06.

This song remind me of my dad and a conversation we had when he was laying in the hospital. Things did not look good and I wanted to get some things off my chest. I told him how sorry I was for so much of what I did when I was young, he laughed and told me I was just a typical teenager and was never ashamed of me. He then went on to tell me how proud he was of the man I had become, what I have done and was doing and how I should be proud too. I miss him everyday.
