@hawkeyepierce95 There's a sim program called "Virtual Sailor" - it's not quite open source but you can add scenery and boats onto it. The last version was VS7; the publisher shifted to a more open platform called Vehicle Simulator which includes wheeled land vehicles and aircraft.

There are two Disney's Nautilus but one of them is the real Nautilus of the movie and the other is the same but with an older style

I thini I downloaded a version of the "movie Nautilus" (the one on the left), but my version was incomplete; in the wheelhouse, there are no sie walls when seen from the inside; the inner hull is a hollw shell - tghe only details are the walls, the window and the moving engine machinery - I've looked around for a more complete version w/ success.

I am not sure if I had seen it correctly, but seems to me Disney's Nautilus was somewhat bigger and looked more like a sea monster- very gothic indeed. And I am not quite sure, but in the novel Nautilus was supposed to have some sort of giant spear to rip through attacked vessels. As for Disney- show that Verne miscalculated in some things. Seems they had to enlarge the model to keep all the things from the book inside. Good thing to look at. And feast your eyes.

No, actually, the Nautilus in the book is described between 200 and 300 feet. The Nautilus from the film is shown in blueprints to be about 170 feet if it was real. Rooms were consolidated in the movie. The original had a smoking room, art gallery, library, saloon, and dining room. The Grand Saloon in the movie has all of them combined together.

Also, the 'new' Nautilus is from the film, whereas the 'old' Nautilus has a striking resemblance to the Harper Goff preliminary model that was tweaked by the Disney Art Dept. to the one we know.
